I hope sony will launch this device in India also, I am definitely a fan of compact devices, if it comes to India then pricing should be around Rs, 25000. I am expecting this kind of compact devices from other brands also but all companies are going after phablet size phones, there are few people who don't like big screen devices. Now I will just wait for another compact device from Sony that is 5.5" screen according to leaks. Thanks😊

Performance is about equal, but the Xperia is a lighter, more compact phone and includes a better HDR display. Charging times and battery life should be about equal given the specs. As for cameras we'll have to see, but if the Xperia III's camera is an improvement over the last generation, it may be better than Samsung's - since Samsung is bad at zooming and preserving clarity.
