[deleted post]My friend i am running a phoneshop company in my country in Slovakia with like 40 stores across my country.
Many of my customers had IPXX rated phone and drowned.
Since nobody will give you 2 years of water damage warranty its just a marketing gimmick.
Thats the truth.
And for you it means you were just klucky and nothing else.
Had Moto X4 with IP68 and never ever tryied to put it into water or left on table outside when raining.
You never know whats can gonna happen.
And despite the fact 400 bucks for a new phone is not a big problem for me question here is why???
Rather will not risk than put my phone into the danger.
Even if you can buy new device every day the family photos, videosm, contact list etc have much more personal value which in worse accidents cant be replaced.

These days, it's either 20:9 and 21:9, that's it. You definitely won't see the likes of 19.5:9 or 19:9 or even 18:9 coming back on Android smartphones.

"MIUI is absolute trash. Don't buy this phone if you want stress free user experience. The list of whats ridiculous about this phone goes on and on. I will name some : i had to do factory reset to remove accessibility icon from navigation bar, you must turn on Miui optimisation to upload images to Web, YouTube links dont open in YouTube, new control center swipe down from both sides only shows notifications and no toggles, you can only open videos from file manager with Mi video app, you cant set ringtone for 3rd party messages app, keyboard only saves few recent copied texts, you can't use gestures with 3rd party launcher, you can't have transparent navigation keys"

Anonymous, 23 Aug 2021It's an option for you to be brain dead. Brand fan who... moreI am currently using Xiaomi. I've previously used Samsung and Sony devices, and Nokia when Nokia used to be the king (Not the current cheap Chinese knock-off).
I assure you, you can sense the difference when using the brand devices (Mid or high end ones) and the cheap Chinese devices. Basic things work on both of these, but the small things and details are where you get the worth of your money for buying a premium brand.
An example is the light / auto brightness sensor. No Chinese device I've ever used implemented it perfectly. It works, but struggles in some tricky situations. My previous Samsung and Sony were on spot about it. Heck, even my ~14 year old Blackberry Bold worked better in this aspect. Now I've got used to it and don't notice it that much, but it was irritating when I switched from Samsung first.
Now you can question if the extra money worths this kind of small details. It's upto you, whether you'll pay that premium or not. Many people will.

It's not reasonable to launch the same size screen 6" .
The new variant should be bigger screen , bigger RAM , higher resolution (2k)
If possible SONY should launch other models except 21:9 like 18:5, 19, 19.5 :9 .
Because not every user like 21:9 aspect ratio including me.
I'm a big fan . But stop using Sony since the launch of 21:9

I think it's a good phone, not too expensive and have a unique looks compare to other brand.

Cheap Chinese phones are crap . You actually spend more when you buy a Chinese phone , cz after 2 year they become unusable for the cheap components wear off . But eg buy an Iphone se , you'll use it for 7 years probably .

What experience you talk about ? Never mind that brands are ordering parts and everything to be made in same factories. Also only difference with phones these days are there operation system and if they dont have there own skin and go with stock android then they have nothing unique about anything. Your just dumb as hell and then go around say people are trolls who actually are smarter then you ever will be. You dont know nothing about technology in electronics and are blinded brand fan who take everything from them just cause they are old brand. That ship have sailed when Sony products were good. Now they are like rest of the old brand names who just take a lot of profit from brand name while dont offer much for the money

Why you say no problem and then talk about some user opinion that isnt even about these things ?
And i also think that phones like K30 when it come out was better then 800-1500 phones and also with the K40 even tough these dont end up in global market. They have the latest sd chip in them. Cameras are also good enough for average Joe. Also most people are not photographs who need the latest the best from brand phones to have 1 pixel better quality after they have tweaked a lot of the settings and then still photoshop it afterwards.
Now talk about the real life problems you have with these
plastic back, 8bit screen, no IP rating, slower UFS2.1, macro/depth cam, usb2.0, base 4GB version , no NFC for all markets

It had these videos in youtube 3 years ago when i buy it and i didnt care for the water resistance or ip rating. I was just doing my homework for buying new phone and one of these pop up for looking reviews.

Even a Caviar sells expensive devices but noone buys them apart those whodont know what to do with money.
Any halfbaked chinese phone company can make same device for half the price and apart the sticker on a phone you will find zero differences.
