Does anyone has a Xperia 10 IV that has screen burn in? I recently went to a bigger tech store where several smartphones were displayed and the 10 IV was the only one which screen burn in! I thought that only happened on older OLED/Amoled screens but not on new ones. I guess that Sony is using low quality displays on the entire Xperia 10 Line.

I use a cheap brand called LD without problems for a few years now.

Get 1tb extra fo... morephones dont let you install aplications on sd card since years, only media, and even one i filmed a big video and it got cut off because internall memory got filled up but i had a big sd card installed and it didnt record it on it,i have photos and vids set on sd card and they are all most on it and then that video just got cut off i got mad why the heck got cutt off cuz no more memory but the internal got to 100% and card is 15% full and vids and photos is set on card

after waiting upgrades to sony 10 series from last gen, we said snap 7 or 6 12+12+12 some dual speakers 4k video and we expected the price to go to more like even 500$, now they made the sony 10 V 500$ and didnt upgrade the specs and its still kinda stupid, and also last gen owners say newest update makes the phone overheat and lag they probably gimped and turned off their heat limiting and optimisation so you get a new one

You were talking about daily tasks, and that's exactly what I do with my phone. I don't have Instagram / TikTok, I never play games, etc.
Maybe your A5 struggles in 2023 because your phone calls are more intensive now and require more ram, but to me nothing has changed at all.
Thanks for the suggestion, I appreciate it, but I'm looking for a small phone with a 3.5mm jack. Unfortunately the only available options right now are Xperia 10 and Zenfone 9/10.
I'm still hoping the Xperia Ace IV will be announced in September.

I think I liked Sonys old designs better. This tall and narrow dimension only useful in landscape mode. Its should be shorter like the samsung s22/23. I am sad to say Samsung got the proportions just right. I don't like samsung software. Notchless design is cool, I would not have minded the phone being thicker but less tall and if there is going to be a notch then a corner notch is fine like asus zenphone 9

Five hundred bucks for a Snapdragon 695? Can't believe how often I have to mention the fact that there's phones with the 8 Gen 2 like the Z50 for literally the same price. And they aren't only better in terms of the chipset either.

I still own this phone (A5 2017) and it's far, far away from being fine, it really struggles in 2023. Try the Galaxy A54, it's miles ahead of smartphones with outdates specs such as Xperia 10 IV/V.

Sony is the only company that sells phones with same chipset and same specs on all 3 generations but %20 more expensiver each time.
It takes really genius or Sony knows something about people that we dont know.
Whatever it is, it seems Sony found that chicken which laids golden egg.
