After a recent update, split screen AKA multi-window mode does not allow window resizing. It's either 50/50, or no split screen at all. Is that a bug or did they remove resizing for some reason altogether?

The side sensor on both works better than any optical and ultrasound under-the-display sensors. If you have problems, try cleaning your fingers or wiping the sensor, at worst just re-register your fingerprints, as sometimes there might be an error while registering. It may be a faulty sensor, but then you must be really lucky :)

Switched from a XZ2 (7 years and counting and stills works) due to my network provider shutting 3G and my phone on the software it is on doesnt support 4G voLTE. Grabbed 10 VI in the light blue and this phone is soooo underrated. It is a brilliant little phone, love everything about it only 2 things against it, is the camera a night is hit and miss and missing wireless charging. Fingerprint sensor is perfect. Hope to get another 7 years and counting out of this little beauty.

It looks like it's a Monday copy. Despite careful quality control, there may be occasional deviations. I have the same model, and it works with the usual Sony quality.
Just try to sell it. And buy another smartphone if possible. Life is too short to spend years struggling with a malfunctioning smartphone.

Less than a year of usage and it's already having a hard time detecting, sometimes works, sometimes doesn't. Sometimes you have to give up and just use pin number to unlock.

First, the shortcut panel doesn't open immediately when swiped, god knows why. Have to move to different slides of the home page and swipe down multiple times before the shortcut panel finally opens. I can't believe this is a bug I've had to get used to just bcs I can't afford a new phone, while this phone is not even one year old.
Second, for some reason the torch light is sometimes disabled bcs it says camera is in use, when it is NOT. You could be in any app or not running any app at all, and the torch says CAMERA IN USE. The only solution is to restart the phone.
I don't know if with every update the phone keeps getting worse. But if you have the money to buy this phone, please listen to everyone else who said buy a different phone.

I was so close to buy 10 VI but unexpectedly on serbian local site one user posted brand new Ace 3 from japanese operator NTT DoCoMo but everything works great, mobile network too even after disable DoCoMo apps.. I'm not interested in camera setup or huge unergonomic flagship devices without features I appreciate to have on device .. compact ergonomic form + sd card + 3.5mm + great battery = 🎯 for me

Even if they did make the next 10vii wider, Sony would still be unique in the sense that the screen is notchless headphone jack and sd card :)

Sony is one of the only companies still making decent phones for people with average sized hands, and making all their phones wider would do nothing but remove one of their few remaining distinguishing features

Im thinking of getting the NUBIA Z70 Ultra. It is notchless screen. However, it is over speced for my needs. I don't need 1.5k screen lol. But the phone looks like although on the large side
