Instead of complaining about not supporting true 90Hz and 120Hz. We should accept the fact that there no smartphone display better than that. The fact that there is dedicated Processing Unit X1 for Mobile Engine for up-scaling and image processing show me another brand that does that. None.

HD650(there is no S it is HD650) it may feel bit lacking when pushed to limit. I am saying that based on XZ Premium DAC. Don't know how better XPERIA 1 II DAC is and what is its power output.

I tend to prefer warm anyhow, I just wish the Sony has a decent amp, enough to drive my hd650s with enough volume.

Now I understand How and Why SONY was able to bring back Integrated Finger-Print Sensor into Power Button. After Apple filing court case when SONY implemented it years back. Getting it banned in US Market pushing SONY to first disable it for US Market and then work on Designs where it had to Separate Sensor and Power button. Now after 4-5Yrs Apple had to accept the fact that it was the best Idea and Finally Implement it into Apple Products.
WOW. This tells how forward SONY is when it comes to Practical Ideas and Tech.

AlexP, 12 Sep 2020No. I bought this phone because it's better than Samsu... moreme too...I had HTC U11 and U11+...very good phones. So I met Sony ( xperia xz2 premium, xz2, xperia 1 ) . But Sony always had some issues. I was thinking about xperia 1 ii but the price...In fact, xperia 1 ii is not for me, I need something like point and shoot. I think this is something Sony should consider in the future.

I liked HTC, but they don't make any good flagships anymore, sad. I had Xperia 1 (not perfect) but it's better than Samsungs I had before (freezing, loose reception....). That's why no Samsung anymore
I like Sony, it's special phone, not like everyone else

[deleted post]Well, Xperia 1 II outsold Xperia 1, despite Xperia 1 II cost $1200 at launch, while Xperia 1 cost $950 in the same situation (250 USD difference). Besides, the target market for this phone is a highly segmented, niche market that probably didn't bother with the pricepoint. So you won't see a lot publicly, hence that statement you create 🤨.

Sooooo....I upgraded for xperia1ii after using razer 2 for 13 months. What can I say.. I would expect a lot more from phone worth £960. Phone is loosing reception very often, someone told me ,it's the network issue. I have put the sim card back into razer and problem is gone.
Screen, good resolution but poor refresh rate I think 60hrz(?) .
Screen in razer was a lot smoother if that make sense(120hrz)
Phone gets glitchy quite often. It can get stuck on you tube , bank app and so on.
It's been 4 weeks for now and I'm thinking of selling it and buying new razer 2 again. In my personal opinion , poor phone, overestimated, to expensive.

Seriously this time SONY nailed it. Because fans of other brands are more focused and spending greater time in SONY opinion thread instead of posting in their own brands thread. This makes it clear that how much they are accepting the fact that SONY delivered a product which is superior to their brand. They have to come here and say that this Phone is inferior just to satisfy their ego. Otherwise most of them are not even able to sleep at night.
On the other hand I never see a true SONY fan go to Opinion Threads of other brands discussing how inferior their products are.

The idea behind 1,5,10 is that you s... morethat's a bit make sense but they should leave the midrange out of the naming scheme, since they also have xperia l-series like l4 which from what i understand part of the low end xperia series,which still make sense with that naming, they should called the xperia 10 as in m-series i guess otherwise the whole things won't be coherent. but then again i'm not really care about the naming part,i'm coming from audio and gaming laptop which have more confusing naming scheme than smartphones
