Fanto, 03 Jul 2021Mark III screen is the same as Mark II, right? will use the... moreI hadn't considered that. The screen sizes are nearly identical (71 v. 71.1mm, same height) so should work? I can't say anything about the selfie camera placement position or any other front-facing sensors. Likely somebody knows better than I.

Mark III screen is the same as Mark II, right? will use the same screen protectors, probably I'm gonna get it so wondering if I should buy the ones that are on sale for Mark II.

One perfect, one bad Vs 2 not perfect and not bad on other phones with strange aspect ratios. Sony is all or nothing, others are a safe bet. Neither option is perfect or better than the other.

Went to pre-order mine today, but the Sony website is wonky, not allowing pre-order to populate to the cart. Take my money, dammit!

21:9 ratio in 6.5 inches is totally useless for every use except for calls and photos, videos.

Anonymous, 02 Jul 2021Would be a good phone if not the alien 21:9 screen ratio. At least 21:9, like 16:9 and 4:3 are industry standards. I would call 20,5:9 or 19:9, etc alien as there is no content specifically for these aspect ratios

And I suspect Apple may not have the ability to source a genuine camera zoom lens. The general public doesn't know what that means but photographers do.
This is the first phone that could genuinely replace a lower spec mirrorless camera. If the reviews are good I would consider one - and sell a load of stuff on eBay.

Samsung always launch the Note series in August which is also a slightly slightly refined version of that years S model. Google launches in October.
I am not sure of Google, but Samsung still sells tons of Notes.
Though i would admit it has been a long time between announcement and deliveries

                                  - It's very expensive.

                                  - They are late to the game with a 2021 spec phone. The next iPhone will gone out only a couple of month after. And then the Android's will follow

                                  - They not widely available.
