Anyone who knows why Sony can't/won't add a high quality DAC on it's phones since the they still got the 3.5mm, I mean they also got walkmans
I saw someone say it's because the jack is mostly used for audio input is this true ?

Smartphones in particular require tons of computational photography just because of their small sensors if anyone wants to take a 'natural photo' just look at the scene

This smartphone is trully amazing device and 95% reviews dont even test VideoPro, HLG, Auto mode etc. Video performance is a little better than on iPhone 14Pro. Slow motion from 1V looks like magic. Most of the testers came up with some imaginary problems, such as not focusing the telephoto lens at 5cm, or heating up while recording 4K at 30C (I recorded 4K120fps at 30C and the phone did it amazingly well).
I was shocked what 1V can do at night and slow motion. Your hate won't help anything here, everything is on YT and people like it
I regret that I had to return it after the tests :(

Bad support, poor functionality and insane price. Google, samsung, iphone and even xiaomi supports at least 4 OS upgrades + more security updates.

I mean everyone including oppo, xiaomi, sony, samsung, iphone. But everyone uses different algorithms that's why photos comes out differently. It's a personal taste. If you want 100% natural photo regular photo is the way. Not phone :)

I am a Xperia user since... moreBattery health and durability is true but definitely not the software it's lacking some customization features even a dedicated recorder and album as someone who switched from Samsung the Xperia has a lot more bugs too and the camera isn't for basic point and shoot the manual modes for what they are truly incredible but you won't be using those 90% of the time.

Said back then it was a survival move. As I remember it also said it's supposed to be 5 years or so and judging by the name change/rebranding rumours (which were unheard off for previous generations) they are either going in 2 direction
1. There going to merge it with the alpha line of cameras
2. Make it an actual flagship PHONE with a redesign for a more expanded audience (they tried it with the mark 5 generation)
Either way only a few more months so we'll just have to wait and see
