120HZ refresh rate is all on at all times.
Data mode is on.
Display is at 100% full brightness.
Location is on.
background apps that are running.
If you have poor connection. Let's say 3 bars or less in your area. The phone will keep searching for signals in attempt to better reception.
If you have online market such as ebay, amazon, and such. There are tendencies that the app might be listening on your conversation.
You have enabled "Hey Google"
Your bluetooth is on.
Sensors like pedometer and fingerprint are always on.
You forgot to turn off the flashlight.
You have a lot of spyware apps that are running camera, microphone, location services, and Data.
You have a defective battery.
Your battery is bloated.
You keep playing games that requires heavy usage.
Your hotspot is on.
So many reasons. In the end. It's not the phone that has issues. It's the user.

In other news. Got the Xperia 1 VI camera app on my 1 V and it works amazingly. Have it set to auto-launch with the camera button. Telephoto shots have huge improvement with the "computational photo" setting.
No need to "upgrade" to a worse screen on the 1 VI and with non-standard aspect ratio. Might upgrade if the 1 VII is worth it in the future.
