i have it from black friday and i want to say that Sony must work more with software or Google:)) but for gaming it's perfect

    Sony, well their naming still sucks, but their phones have actually gotten good. SD865 with MicroSD & Headphone Jack Combo. Can other flagship companies take notes?

Idk if anyone commented on Sony naming their ... moreyup, lots of them. rule of thumb: as in photo cameras designation, the smaller the arabic numerals (1, 5, 8, 10) the higher the class and sophistication and better quality, the roman numerals (I, II, III, etc) designates the generation.

            Jeez wheez... Idk if anyone commented on Sony naming their phones. Last 3 phones... Xperia 10, Xperia 1 II, Xperia 5 II...
            They need to scratch off Xperia name and start over.

              Is this phone any good for taking videos? Can someone suggest an alternative / better phone for taking video, preferably android based as will want sd card slot.

                      Sony cameras can yield really impressive photos, but it's nowhere near as easy to do it as on an iPhone or a Pixel. That's the problem.
                      i think i want this phone to replace my aging XZ Premium, but i'll wait for the price to come down a bit.

                        But for back cameras I am happy with quality - as I prefer natural colors and no AI corrections - just pure lens power ;) (I can always use snapseed afterwards).

But when it comes to actually taking video, i would pick the iphone ALL DAY. Sony is known to make sensors for the best camera phones running android like the pixel. But when we saw the front camera specs, it was not impressive. It's not a deal breaker tho cus i have tried it and it is completely fine.

                                  but obviously you won't get any local warranty support.
