Mas Sakti, 27 Aug 2020Xperia 5 has 3140 maH and 6,1 OLED without HRR, and get 96h... moreBattery size is not confirmed to be 3300, we have only rumor and a leaked picture of the device.
But even if rumored 3300 is true, it will be great.
One rumor also said 3800 maH for Xperia 5 II.
So have to wait n see what is the real deal.

iwil, 27 Aug 2020Why people always complaining about small battery. To me as... moreAs per numerous yt tests made, Sony is best android OEM in battery mah per hour managment.
Only Apple does better in that regard.
The Xperia 5 mk I batterylife test here proved it already.
So no matter the mah amount in this phone, which is certainly going to be bigger than 5 mk I, I am at no worry about its daily battery endurance, it ll be great also.

Xperia 5 has 3140 maH and 6,1 OLED without HRR, and get 96h battery test. And now Xperia 5 ii has 3300 maH with same display but has 90 Hz refresh rate, could it be get more value on battery test? Perhaps this phone can be sold outside Japan.

Why people always complaining about small battery. To me as long as it can survive 8 hours screen time, I have no problem. It is not about how big the battery but how good Sony can manage it.

Some 'leaks' say it will be 3300mAh, others say 3700 or 3800mAh, so it's all guessing right now. With Xperia 1 II we didn't know about the 4000mAh battery until just before the annoucement.
If the Xperia 5 II will get about the same battery size increase as the Xperia 1 II, compared to its predecessor (about 20%), then Xperia 5 II will have 3800mAh. I expect at least 3700mAh.

I hope the battery is slightly bigger, but other then that, seems to be a very interesting phone since I don't want any notch/punchhole and do want a headphonejack

This is the next phone that I have my sights on for that needed long time coming upgrade. All depends now on how much it will cost. I just hope it will have a good battery life, the Xperia 5 scored well with that so I hope this model will be even better.

"Unofficial preliminary specifications" people. Sure, some specs already certain, but some of them aren't. So wait until the unveiling date. Even then, we need to wait for the reviews for the objective results before judging this phone out.

I wish they reduce the screen size to 5.5-5.7" and make it compact. These big phones are really difficult single hand use & carry.

Now let us hope the front facing camera will be much better this time, because on the 1 Mark II it sucks badly.
