But this device gets even hotter due to smaller size and possibly the camera consumes more power.

This phone really great at camera and gaming but it really fast rising temperatures.Also the cool feature i see the game enhance,and the cinema display.While the camera can zoom about 12.5x,and have 0.7x.

Carrier locking dumb mechanism is so stupid, the locked phone shouldn't even be on market.
Well at least I got fully refund.

So don't take it too seriously about Apple hype, it's most just the software image processing and not really about camera quality.
This phone does take some decent pics as long as there is enough light.
I have not had green line issue yet, but there is a risk.
Therefore, if I were you, get it only if you can find it with good price (also make sutr it's in good condition too).

continuing to post below, I forgot to add another con about this phone.
Since I can't unlock bootloader on this model, I'm stuck with bloatware.
It does come with bloats such as facebook, netflix and few other games that I don't use.
I can only disable them.

Got a used one for about $170.
Pros:
-Comfortable form factor to hold
-Premium feel from the materials, convenient, example - easy to take out sim tray
-The main camera - Good natural photos, better detail than typical cheaper phone camera that I tried. I think it's possible to take great shots depending on skill of the user.
-Display is rather good
Cons:
-Battery life isn't great. Saw 7% drop on standby in 7 hours without sim / internet.
*Saw similar kind of drop with another SD 888 model; therefore, it could be due to inefficient SD 888 processor.
*I've seen only 3 % drop in 7 hours from the other cheaper phone with SD 870.
-Gets hot sometimes (feels hotter than the other SD 888 model when it gets hot)
-Can't unlock bootloader for my model
-Slow charging speed (It may be theoretically safer to charge slower but haven't seen clear evidence about slow charging speed = battery longevity according to my observation from other phones)
Verdict - It's OK, rather a good phone; however "definitely" not worth the original price.
*Haven't tried it long enough to see green line issue yet.

I had bought my Xperia 5 III in July 2024 and it got first midline green line after 3 months. Another on the left side after one more month and now finally it has 4 lines in this pattern (II I I)
I can't hate myself and my phone more because I am a student and I had spent all I had in buying it. It has a good CEMRA no doubt, but what is the worth of this phone if I'm not able to see it's screen properly.
