Sony is still the only manafacturer with a headphone jack, expandable storage, stereo speakers, a flat hdr oled display with zero cut outs which makes it the best viewing experience.

I'm no Sony hater, I'm actually even considering the Xperia 5 III to be my next phone (if it's priced reasonably). But no matter how many manual settings you change in your manual mode on a Xperia device, it won't ever reach the level of auto mode of Pixels or Huawei [flagship] phones. It's time for Sony and you to stop this "manual mode is superior" BS.

Definitely not for making selfies. You shouldn’t be a pro to know that a decent portrait needs a subject distance of at least 1.5 m. Maybe for teleconference call but this is the last thing one would expect quality from.
If it was up to me no Sony smartphones would have any selfie cameras at all. In this way the over 90% screen-to-body ratio would became a reality.

People making up stuff like this to justify their bad purchase decision. Nobody adjusts the manual settings on their phone. The stereo speakers are nothing special, just stereo, an iPhone or Samsung has better speakers. And no, going into the settings and adjusting an EQ won't suddenly make the speakers louder.

This is the perfect phone for watching movies and running emulated games + no punch hole no notch and no round corners.Just throw an 1tb micro sd in it and you have all your games music an videos.Well done SONY!

Sony smartphones are for PROsumers - consumers who do tweak photos and videos professionally, love the sound and video quality of music and movies and so on; It’s not for the average user out there. Especially for the hype beasts who just like to point and shoot, brag about their trendy gadgets without knowing and maximizing it’s full potential and the like.
