Oled is the type of display panel, on the other hand x-reality engine is image processing to enhances the display output. Sony already used oled/amoled panel since xperia 1/5 mark 1. Are you never know about that?

                  And for audiophile i recommend them to buy a good type c dac + any phones (even cheap china phones you mentioned).
                  Astell&kern pee51 is one of the good choices.

                    You can plug your dac to a cheap chinese phone and still get the same sound quality.
