The 256 GB storage version has no e-SIM option !! I bought it online for the e-SIM + sd card option and got the 256 GB version (instead of the advertised 128 GB) but is comes without the e-SIM option. You should update this on the phone specifications !!

I find it funny that Sony is going with stupid trend of not including charging brick.
If Sony wants to go with the trend, let the price also go with the trend (or don't even try as it makes them look stupid).

This phone has much better chip than IV at cost of no telephoto lens.
Doesn't appeal much.

Living in Thailand, this phone still costs a lot higher than other typical phones with high spec.
Well, of course, they can't just lower price here otherwise everyone will come here to buy it though.... it's still too expensive.

I know why their phones are expensive.
One reason is they are manufactured in Japan and Thailand (not sure about Vietnam, if yes, it should be cheaper than Thai)
Considering cost of labor, even Thai is still more expensive than China (possibly +30% plus other costs).

For years, everyone kept saying that Gibson guitars are way too overpriced for what they are, and that there are many cheaper Les Paul models out there that play the same or better. I have wasted years and spent money, changing and modding cheap guitars, until one day I bought my first Gibson and never looked back.
Sony phones are just better, and people come here to comment because they are angry that they cannot afford them. If there are many better things out there for what I truly want, I would have no need to come here and bash a product that no one is forcing me to buy.
The reason why I get angry at Sony is because they manage to get every damn thing amazing in every single phone, and then they massively mess up one thing - with the IV series it was the overheating issue, with the V series it was the subpar display with massive colour banding on angle, the VI series went away from the 21:9 ratio which gave it the elegant look, and they did not make the 5 model. The 10 VI model would have been amazing if they were not too stubborn to actually put at least a 90Hz panel.
To each his own, I guess.

As for overall quality, I don't know as I've never had a chance to try one... but according to my experience, other cheaper ones can last well over few years, except for the battery (not that they use high quality materials though they just put things together well enough, I guess).
Sadly this model is hardly available, and costs twice more than budget friendly options here.
