This is twice as costly as OnePlus Nord CE 4 and their Antutu score and camera megapixels are comparable.
I bought OnePlus Nord CE 4 two months ago and it works like a charm. Save your money from Sony, they just want to loot you because many people don't buy their phones anymore.

It might be me & how I did the biometrics, but I find the fingerprint reader is not that good on the Xperia 5 v, it maybe the phone case causing the issue (Xperia 5 iii case), but the Xperia 5 iii had a better fingerprint scanner, that was faster and had fewer 'fingerprint not recognised ' issues

Urgent, please a... moreI would say Xperia 5 v is quite slippery to hold, but as a rough test/comparison - the Motorola Moto G100 is less slippery. I always use phone cases with phones to add protection and reduce slipperiness this fixes it

The XZ range were so cool. Still love Sony design. Unique. Probably a bit too tall and narrow nowadays. Sony could have done a new XZ premium for 2024 ie same design but thinner bezels :)

I sold an Sony Xperia 5 iii and a Xiaomi Poco F5 to buy my Xperia 5 v. I have a Motorola Moto G100 as a back up phone.

sony just announced that the xperia 5 vi (6) will not come this year. so if you want to get a xperia 5 you will either have to wait another year for a phone line that may be discontinued or get this phone.

Got this phone today, as an upgrade to my Xperia 5 iii . So far so good, can use same phone case. Seems better than 5 iii for most things especially battery life. Not sure why there's not a 5 vi model released, but this will do for now.
