21:9 is fine for your bigger phone but for this size it really does not work. As much as this might be Sony signature an 18:9 screen would work better at this size.

Wow this is insane.. it will receive 7 generations of OS updates and 7 years of security patches. It also has beautifull UI. And great amount of features which you can turn On, or Off (if you dont like them).

Unnecessary long... moreit is dedefinitely better than the s20 fe, if you care about sd card and audiojack this phone should do good, also the camera is nice though its max potential is locked so an app is needed for that if you care about shooting pictures better though it should be good enough for daily use.

it's more about customization, and xperia clearly lack of cuztom (home screen to hide apps, removing annoyances like animations and others in dev menu, make phone more clear less annoying less spying less bloaty less notifications => less cluttered, less annoying, overall).
Xperia 5 V has stunning hardware, and less than average software
so bad, I would have loved to love it.

There is a tele-camera, its provided by pixel addition on the huge 52megapixel main camera. I have the phone, and it works perfectly, just as GSMarena found out.

Im convinced the CEO at Sony is a shareholder in Chinese tech companies such as xiaomi, one plus, oppo and even Samsung of Korea. The ceo at Sony is trying to destroy Sony mobile devision he knows most ppl aren’t going to buy a phone with thick bezels in 2024 and bloated prices that looks straight out of 2010. If it’s not this then Sony are just ego driven and don’t want to change phone design into the present day purely to not look the same and conform to sleek modern design like Chinese phone makers and Samsung. Unfortunately while Sony do look different it’s the wrong different, 99% of people under 30 wouldn’t touch a Sony phone or any phone with 2010 aesthetics.

benben, 09 Jan 2024still stubborn, dont want to spend to improve the design an... moreXperia offers top notch build quality rivaled only by Apple. Top and bottom bezels are there to fit the selfie camera and front facing stereo speakers. Bottom bezel could be thinner but then phone would be asymmetric. Side bezels were always super tiny until 5V which uses now same display housing as 10V in order to streamline the production and save money.
