This phone is not good. Because It has not Bravia Engine 2 , NFC , 4g network ,Scratch-resistant glass , up to 10 finger touch , graphics quality is lower than Xperia SP , video quality is lower than xperia sp , not supported direct video calling . It has a chinese board Like MT6589 , Not supported DLNA, MHL & gyroscope.
So By My thinking , you don't purchase sony xperia c , you purchase sony xperia sp.

This phone is a average man's phone (not a high end phone). however at this price it can play high end games too. Now i guess that should explain a lot about its performance. Also the battery life is quite decent. works more than a day with average usage. But for heavy usage it works for still over a day, LOL.
Camera after the update works better than before. like someone mentioned earlier in this opinion window that its slow to focus, but now its faster and clearer.

Bought a new Xperia C in the beginning of Jan 2014. My phone which was working fine till now ust completely froze while i was browsing the internet (hotmail). It just completely froze. I tried switching it off from the power buttton but nothing. since we cant do a hard boot by removing the battery, Figured would let the battery drain overnight and then it should restart when i plug in the charger. Did that, and now the screen does not go any further than the sony logo on the screen . VERY DISAPPOINTED.

i am using xperia c for 4 months no issue in phone
the phone working like a new and all features are work
smoothly.

praneeth kumar, 30 Jan 2014Hi Friends, in my xperia C while i connect to internet ever... moreMy suggestion for you to download speedtest.net app on your xperia c and check how much speed you are getting on 3G ? If it is less then 0.50 mbps, and ping request is more then 200 ms then it`s time to move to a different operator. I also moved from some other network to Airtel and now i`m not facing any signal lost issue and i`m getting around 3-6 mbps speed on 3G.

i am using mobile phone since 15 years , but Sony Xperia C is The Worst mobile i have ever come across.. i request u all who r interested in buying Sony Xperia C to spend few hours at Sony Servicing Centre and then u deciced urself..I also advise Sony to recall all Xperia C mobiles before it damages the reputation of the Company
