Most of the points people have
          mentioned,while comparing Grand
          with Xperia C, are completely
          wrong. So,don't be misled.
Following are some of those points-
          A. Processor - MediaTek consumes
          lesser battery as compared to
          Qualcomms. Also, you can't
          compare a 1.2 GHZ MediaTek
          processor with a 1.5 or 1.7 GHz
          Qualcomm Snapdragon. So, let us
          compare those variants which have
same frequency per core say 1.2
          GHz. i.e. MediaTek's MT6589
          processor versus Qualcomm's
          MSM8228Q. Please note that Grand
          Duos doesnt even have a
          Qualcomm Processor. It has a
          Broadcomm processor which is
          inferior to both Qualcomm and
          MediaTek. Comparison - 1. MT
          supports full HD video playback
          while MSM supports HD playback
only. 2. MT supports full HD
          screen resolution while MSM
supports only HD. 3. MT can
support upto 13 MP camera while
MSM supports camera only upto 8
MP. 4. Power Efficiency of MT is
          higher than MSM. 5. Cost - A
phone having this MT will fall in
          the range 15k - 16k (I am not
talking about brands like XOLO or
Lava), while a phone having MSM
will fall in the range 18k to 21k. 6.
More Cache memory per core in MT
          than MSM means better
          performance. 7. Heating - MSM
          generates more heat than MT
          under similar test conditions. So,
for a 1.2 GHz per core processor,
          MediaTek > Qualcomm >
          Broadcomm. B. Unibody design - I
          personally think that this should
not be a criterion while selecting
phones. You can't say that don't
buy Xperia Z because it has
Unibody Design. It's a matter of
          personal choice. Moreover, you can
buy a power bank if you need an
          extra battery backup. C. Buttons
on the screen itself - This is not at
all a problem. Instead of adding
          extra hardware for just three
          buttons, which consumes more
battery and may increase the cost,
it's better to provide the buttons
on the screen itself. And when do
we need the full screen display??
          While watching movies, pictures
etc. or playing games, right? If you
have used a Sony phone you must
          be knowing that these buttons
disappear while doing any of the
          above mentioned things. Plus, how
much space of a 5 inch display do
          you think these buttons will
          consume?? D. Front Facing Camera
          - Yes this has a .3 MP front facing
camera which is just a VGA
          camera. Suppose i provide a 5 MP
HD camera in the front. Now while
          doing video calling, data is
          transferred and received by the
          device continuously. If you have
          watched videos on youtube you
must be knowing that to watch a
high quality video you need a high
          speed internet connection. How
many people in India use 2G as
compared to 3G?? Majority of them,
right? What is the max. speed that
you can get out of a 2G network?
Do you think it'll be good for such
a person to buy a phone with a
          5MP front facing cam?? I don't
think so.. It's only a matter of
personal choice again.. E. Display -
Both the Xperia C and Galaxy
Grand have TFT displays. Now, i'll
roughly explain what is a TFT
          display? Roughly it contains three
          layers - a. Top Glass, b. Liquid
Crystals layer c. backlight. Now how
can Grand's display be better than
Xperia C? Top glass will not
          change anything, liquid crystals
are the same. One option is
          changing the intensity of backlight.
          Increasing the backlight intensity
          means more battery consumption.
So, if you don't like a TFT display,
go for AMOLED or Super AMOLED.
If you like the natural colors and
sharpness of a TFT, both Xperia C
and Grand are equally good. The
only way that we can compare
these two is on the basis of the
ppi. And Xperia C has better ppi
          than Grand, far better. 4gb
internal storage is an issue with
Xperia C. So, in my view Xperia C is
better than Grand and Xperia SP is
better than Xperia C, thanks to
          Corning Gorilla Glass, Bravia
Engine, Exmor Tech., NFC support ,
          300+ ppi, 1.7 GHz Qualcomm
Snapdragon S4 Pro etc. Most of the points people have
          mentioned,while comparing Grand
          with Xperia C, are completely
          wrong. So,don't be misled.
Following are some of those points-

I m using the phone for past 1 month.
Users are facing the battery problem and i m also facing the same.
                      There are 2 issues :

                      1. after 80%, battery dont charge efficiently.
                      2. after reaching 35%, battery discharges very fast.

After few experiments, I got a solution for the issue.

The first problem only occurs when ur battery discharges below 35%. So try to recharge at 40%. If this is not possible and in case battery stops charging after 80%, then switch off ur cell and charge for 2-5 minutes, u ll see, battery will be fully charged and then switch on ur cell.

                      Try it guyzz....all the best.

Aur dua karo ki ye problem theek ho jaye ;)

My reasons for getting an Xperia C:

                                  1. Dual Sim Facility – It’s more convenient than toting two units that made me seem look like a phone exchange operator.
I maintain two accounts for efficient reachability and wanted a single unit that can reliably provide a solution.
                                  2. Price – Rather than invest on an expensive top of the line unit, I get to invest on the same idea of having two units with still so much to spare on other stuff with the same budget.
For some reason, the price difference does not in any way justify twice or even thrice better features already on the xperia c (at least on the basis of my daily usage). I would rather get a decent point and shoot cam that will put a lot of small sensor sized camera phones to shame just so to compensate for the xperia c’s video and photography limits…not that they aren’t considered already impressive to the average person (without basic photography backgrounds).
Moreover, expensive units at best carry a superficial “lifestyle” that seem to lure majority of fans who probably know only a fraction of an expensive phone’s features.
                                  3. Brand – the unit sports a reliable company that offers services at just about a neighbor’s distance.
Sony electronics still has an historical edge over other counterparts in terms of audio performance, video capabilities, and photography features. Specifically, milestones in walkmans, bravia screens and now their leading micro four thirds cam featured in the nex series.
Might not reflect their expertise on the xperia c’s features, but definitely sony reliable at a budget. Did I mention sony also manufactures computers?
                                  4. Screen Size – Not the best of resolutions but it fits my pocket just right and
allows me to enjoy videos and games at a distance allowing me decent peripheral perspectives of the real world. I don’t want my eyes stuck to the screen and completely miss the rest of the world.
                                  5. As of writing, the Xperia C sits comfortably among the top when it comes to Phones with Dual Sim Capacity (which I think is the major consideration). Otherwise you are better off with single sim units that carry no budget concerns.
(Read Xperia Specs for better appreciation).

Ive had this phone for a month, any lag issues I had at the start are gone. This phone runs smooth, heavy games run exceptionally well, installed apps can gp straight to the sd card with no problems so space is not an issue. The camera is great, the front camera is vga but I dont take selfies, but its good enough for Skype. The battery is amazing, it can run for a very long time (granted I turn down the brightness). And the main reason why I got this phone is because its dual SIM (which is the phone for you,if you want a budget dual sim phone that runs this well
                                      )
