@ SubramanianKV : ya u r right that back cover can b removed but its not mentioned any where that battery can also b removed. actually i seen so many videos of xperia c unpacking but i ve not found any battery in box.. so plz response.
if any other ve any idea about this then plz get back..

ankitttt, 23 Oct 2013is it hangs?? what was the internal memory when u recived ... moreDear ankitttt, I did't face any hang or lag issue in Xperia C till date since 2 weeks has been passed. Why any android smartph hangs? When it has internal memory very low & u install so much apps without transfer to external sd. But as I previously said that in Xperia C u can direct store ur apps in external sd memory that can b extended by 32GB. I m using it & very fast & buttery process. Camera is not much much good but very good even in low light. Full HD 1080P video plays in MX Player smoothly. Although less ppi but big 5" display feels like Bravia Engine display. Xperia C is very much looks like similar to Xperia Z. What u want else in this price tag just go for Xperia C u'll not regret I m quite sure.

In response to the question on whether the battery can be removed - YES. According to the manual the back cover can be removed, so it should be possible to remove the battery.
