btw this handset is the handset for midrangers, i my self requested to Sony to bring a dual sim dual core with full HD video, and if they do not have such supported chipset why do nt they use Mediatek 6589, this was the moment when galaxy grand was just announced, Sony did nt confirm me any thing whether they would make or not but later we started having rumors and then finally, when the rumors came , Sony replied to me we wud nt tell you to believe on rumors, but we will tell you to stay tuned to our page and you will listen good news alot is going to be revealed, and yes its finally here, i am going to get my phone, and others who use pther chipset phone bros this phn is not for you, just go and buy you want to, bcz their are alot of those present in the market but this is one we did nt have and wanted from sony, and yes they did it, when one of their die hearted fan wanted it, i have used xperia Z but for me a dual core speed or the same speed as this one will work but i need a dual sim, i hate Samsung bcz of its same design every where and due to its plastiky look , i just feel it to be a toy phone rather being real, So i go for sony, if you want for any other do go , stay blessed

xperia c is directly pitched against galaxy grand and should come under sub 20k.... a welcome change from the samsung herd....which all look the same.

micca, 25 Jun 2013awwwww sony is workig on xperia z for the poor :/you point is? not everyone is rich. good to have budget phone from branded name like sony. better buy sony then oem china phone with same mediatek processor because sony has better support compare to oem brand. if the pricing is right this phone would be a good buy.

Since you are getting a premium build quality from sony and apple. And reason for making phones in china is that there labour price is very cheap than other countries.

The featu... moreMediatek quadcore chip had bettet performance than snapdragon 200 quad core which has no support for HD video recording (present in galaxy grand quattro or win) and its also better than galaxy grand's broadcom chip.and the gpu power vr sgx 544 can handle the games easily and capable of shooting full HD videos. one more thing it will be priced 18k or more in india.

This phone is for budget users only and not for hardcore gamers! And keep in your mind that nowadays, almost all of the branded smartphones are built in china!
