Worst phone, never buy, light sensor not working, video disturbance, power key loose and hurting, volume key hurting, corners hurting. shelled out 18000/- want to sell it and buy motorola

The battery is not good. It takes almost 4 hrs to fully charge and the battery gets utilized very fast.

I am using this phone for nearly a month now. I feel Sony should really adjust its pricing policies. I paid Rs. 18000/- for this from a local dealer, just because i liked the Sony build quality. Now i feel cheated as you can buy Oct core phones for that price. oh well...
Pros:
1. superb build quality.
2. has dedicated cam button
3. great screen visibility. ( not under direct sunlight though. :-( )
Cons:
1. power button seems loose with only one month use.
2. overheats sometimes while playing games like subway surfers even.
3. surprisingly difficult to find "legit" accessories. well, this might be a problem for me only, as I always try to buy OEM stuff if possible. Knock offs are easily available.
4. IDK if Kitkat has been made available for this or not, but I have still not been able to find it.
overall a great phone. but if you have 18-20k budget for a phone, there are many other great options. Look at Panasonic P81 if possible.

There is any protection for its display ? If yes which kind of protection is this and what its means ? Can i use this phone without putting any extra display protector ?

im using this phone
very good phone.
i only hate the ui is very limited not customizable
you cannot change the icons, you cannot change/edit the notification. you cannot change the style of sms skin.
lg ui is better it more customizable.
but i still love my xperia c.
and i wantto see lg g3 mini too.

for those who have low headphone volume problem
just follow these steps
1: root your phone with framaroot v 1.8 or higher
2: reboot phone and install root explorer
3: use root explorer, go to system/build.prop and locate the line ro.build.type=user and change it to ro.build.type=eng,save and reboot
4: now dial *#*#3646633#*#* to reach engineer mode
5: in engineer mode go to hardware test/audio/headset
and in menu type choose media now change the max vol to 160 and change the step 6 vol to 255 press set for saving changes and enjoy
tested on rom b.2.13 by me

xperia c is very beautiful unlike the egg shaped galaxys.the power button is just a beauty.the camera is superb.so is the user interface.have been using it the last 5 days and i belive its great.walkman app is very good.i migrated from a galaxy core and i am absolutely happy with xperia c

Exactly started after seven months. Memory issues.. Camera issue. Apps. Slow as hell. And many other things. My advice would be to sell it and buy something else.

People overload their phones with apps then complain it doesn't work properly-the xperia c is an excellent phone and has the longest battery life of any phone I've ever owned.
