AnonD-39745, 24 Jul 2015To all who are complaining about the battery timing and hea... morebut what OS you referring to the android or sony? because Sony's one is updated, and still is having an issue with the battery. it drops in stand by mode and it's on STAMINA. so it's weird. since i got the phone it says that it has 1 day, and then suddenly now it's 18 hours? how come? also, i don't use the phone for playing and don't take selfies all day. it's in stand by mode almost all the time and battery drains during sleep even when the WIFI IS OFF. for real..... i have android lastest version 5.0 i read that lollilop has an issue with the battery drain also i checked the apps... c'mom Sony puts on list of the apps consuming battery and there is none!, someone help me!, im going to go to the sony center here in my country.... it can't be losing all battery because is on sleep and without wifi. it's just ridiculous.

ashish , 22 Jul 2015 I m getting confused sony c4 nd htc desire 826Regarding the C4 vs 826 choice matter, apart from the fact that the SD615 is not at par with the MT6752, the 826 is way larger and heavier than the C4 if it means anything to you that is. The C4 even with its large 5.5" display is very very handy and very pleasing. While lying on its back it looks not only premium but also intriguing with its large popping out chrome ring front facing camera and the flash. As I've said earlier that while the 615 may have a slightly more stable behavior on multi tasking (Based on experience with lower to highest end chip-sets other than the 615 from SD, so cant be sure in suggesting weather 615 is actually better in multi tasking over the MT6752) the MT6752 is way better performing than the 615 when it comes to graphics in games (you may search for M4 Aqua vs C4) even when it has more pixels to handle. C4 also has a Front facing Flash and its really good to have that.
826 on the other hand also looks like a good looking device with stereo front facing speakers and comes with two variants, one with 4mp front and the other with 13mp Front facing camera.
They are both indeed very closely matched and well designed devices. The choice in the end is really yours. Hope this helps.

Anonymous, 23 Jul 2015Same problem to me also which is best Have no experience with the A7, however, if you are more of an Amoled loving person then you may go for the A7. I like Ips more. The only thing I can say about the Desire 826 is that it has SD 615 cpu, on the plus side it may be a bit more stable at multi taking as I've experienced with other SD chipsets, however, in terms of performance SD615 with HD display is quite questionable. If you are not at all a gaming person then you may be fine with either. Hope this helps in some ways.

In fact I in my review particularly mentioned the two thing as a plus point that it doesn't heat up and has an excellent battery timing. However, I am not using 3G or Lte constantly, so can't say if that could be a reason. Also please check if you've got the latest OS. As I mentioned in my review, the phone has serious issues out of the box and the phone doesn't notify for the upgrade so you need to connect to the Sony Pc software. The build number for my C4 dual is 27.1.B.1.93. Hope this helps.

I also have the dual sim version but it never hangs, awesome phone with great cameras and decent battery life, screen quality is awesome so crisp and clear in fact one of the best screens i've ever come across.

I have the dual sim but am using with only one sim so I can't say if it hangs with both the Sims working. It freezes sometimes when downloading updates from Google play in the background. Other than that it's a reasonably smooth device. Have had no big issues so far however you can't expect a flagship level of smooth working from a midranger phone.
