I had the same problem with mine, so I took it off and now it's working fine. Apparently, it's got something to do with the proximity sensor being covered. Hope that helps.

One of the best screens I've ever come across, so bright n'sharp this phone is worth every single penny, just got it yesterday & I'm highly impressed, kudos Sony.

purchased it on 17th July form SONY CENTRE, pune.
its awesome phone with grt camera quality, and display.
easy to handle even if its 5.5inches with 1 hand.
and the best part is of battery backup. mine lasts easily for 1.5days with moderate usage.
sound quality is grt.
go for it guys.
