Sony Xperia C5 Ultra

I just bought an Xperia C5 Ultra a week ago and I think the battery life is exceptional. I have the phone set for "stamina mode". I use the phone all day long at work and when I get home I still have 50% battery. That's a mix of YouTube Red, web browsing, checking email, watching videos stored on the SD card, and a few phone calls. The phone I had previous to this was the Samsung Galaxy Alpha. In that same usage scenario, the Galaxy Alpha was typically at 20% or less.
And as far as the phone heating up...my previous Galaxy ran *a lot* warmer than the C5.
A note about the Sony IPS screen vs. the AMOLED on my Samsung Galaxy. I thought I would miss the rich, oversaturated colors on the AMOLED...but I don't. I have the Sony IPS screen set to "Mobile BRAVIA Engine 2" and it's a little less saturated than the AMOLED and I am finding that I like it better. It's just a touch of saturation without being technicolor oversaturated.
Sony's "Super-vivid mode" is just plain ridiculous...everything is SO oversaturated that it's cartoon-like.
Overall, I absolutely LOVE this phone. For $299 I feel it's the deal-of-the-year for a 6" smartphone.

George, 29 Feb 2016Battery problem, i thought it will last for 2 days, but i u... moreDude same here, the battery drains very quickly. I clicked some photos at the expense of 5% battery ( the camera was on for 4 mins may be). The phone is awesome, but the battery is really disappointing.

battery are crap just like asus.but i buy it because of the camera and ram/it fast but little expensive for the chipset.overall ok for chatting and taking photo.not suitable for gaming and long time web surfer

dont buy it got windows 10 usb connection problems! windows 788.1 are better. direct simple connection.

I just bought it yesterday... I noticed that WiFi is keep dropping... when WiFi connected, after use like 5 minutes, then WiFi just showing with the upload sign instead of download... then I have to switch off WiFi in my c5 ultra then turn it on again... then only it working, but after few minutes, its happen again..
Anyone has this issue?? Any solution ??

Battery is Actually like just 1500mAh.... Drains quickly... Nd in sunlighti see some sort of pixels dots aligned in parallel lines...other features are good for phone of this Range..

I just buy C5 2 days ago. I found that the battery was so fast drop. Before i use T2 ultra and i change to C5 because of camera,ram and int memory. Normal use for my T2 Ultra battery can last until night and still hv 30-40%, but now after 3 hrs use my batery drop to 35%. Very terrible

All good except for the battery span, easily drained and easily heated up backside. Battery is very very poor. The rest perfectly approved. I hope Sony will find solution for this battery heated up. Thanks.

Excellent phone. My only complaint is the fact that it isn't waterproof, and that the device is only 2gb RAM. No lag or studder, so I guess 3gb isn't necessary
