just bought this phone today...and i immediately got notice that its got an upgrade from jelly bean to kitkat version....and viola my xperia e1 is now kitkat....one thing i noticed its display loooks more good now...downloaded apps(games, antutu, webster etc) can now be transferred from internal storage to sd card! great upgrade...still trying to feel my sony xperia e1 and with drop price now of 5,500php...

i just bought a sony xperia e1 today...received an upgrade of kitkat and its walkman(now more clearer, deeper booster and enhanced sound)...now lets see what kitkat can do to this toy-like phone...i think its one of the best android on this price category(php 5,000-6,000)second only to asus zenfone 5 lite(which i also owned).

Bought this phone and love it! It might be a bit slow sometimes and the screen could have been slightly larger but for the money (£50) its a bargain. Recommend if you want a functional smartphone, without overspending for the brand.

Sony xperia e1 is an excellent mobile .
1.It could play even high end games like asphalt 8.
2.It fell from my hand couple of times so far nothing happened.
3.The camera looks better than 5mp Samsung most of the time.i am puzzled
4.screen quality is good.and maybe excellent due sonys interface
5.512mb ram is no problem.actually sony e1 functions faster than xperia m,L.
6.i love the design it looks great.hope sony produced the same mobile which is 2mm thinner and 4.3 inch screen.
7.call quality is good.
Cons.
1.12mm thick.slightly thick.
2.minor software bugs.which can be fixed.
3.sometimes call quality is bad when outdoors.maybe switching off active noise cancellation might help.
4.hope it had led flash.
This is a great mobile. I really recommend this Mobile over variety of lowend mobiles by samsung,htc
This phone is better than samsung s duous 3,Nokia lumia 530,nokia x.
If you can spend extra moto e would be much better.

Stupid update! Why cant i download facebook on play store?.it says incompatible update always when i try to download it.Is anybody there can help me?

So, i bought this phone not long ago and i don't regret it at all. It's cheap and amazingly hard to break it. I recommend it for people who drop phones accidently in water or on hard floor. Well, i didn't dropped my phone accidently on the tiles, as a matter of fact in the middle of the argument with my girlfriend about me playing games on my new mobile phone, i tried to brake it by throwing it on the floor with all the strenght i had in me - it survived the impact, not a scratch... everything worked fine except the external speaker, it sounded as broken. Few days ago filled my bath with hot water (was preparing for a bath) and accidently my phone slipped into the bathtub full of water :D i removed the battery, dried it with a hair dryer for 15 minutes, insterted the battery, swithched my "dust free, brand new looking" phone on - everything works perfectly including the external speaker which sounded before as broken :D so i have it as new since and don't regret a bit i bought it instead of iPhone 5 (i have doubts iPhone would have survived the same as my Sony Xperia E1) :)
