The phone is very nyc. Display is too good from other phones but its too bright n we cn not reduced its brightness as low as we cn used on other companies phones. The biggest problem in this phone is camera clarity, which is worst as I ever seen, specially on low light. I hate this phone for its camera clarity.

Myabe really they still testing software Lollipop, maybe Marshmallow - I don't know, just I know that E4G will not stay wit KitKat. Why in 2015 was KitKat? I don't know, need to ask Sony :) Maybe for reason to update now, I don't know why Sony choosing this strategy of update :)

They writing that all the time, so relax it's not mean that E4G will not get Lollipop or Marshmallow (but Marshmallow I think will not get really, Lollipop - will be update later, I think)

worst phone I have ever owned.
so slow to the extent that I miss phone calls because swipe to answer doesn't come up till it has rung out at times. even to make a call can take up to 40 secs from when unlocked till starts ringing.
now the phone is dead and only 2 months old. wont turn on and charge light stays red when on the charger. phone has never been dropped and is looked after well.
will never buy another sony phone

No official lolipop update for sony e4g,that say sony support.
Sony will realise sony e5 with lolipop.
Dont be sad E-series is budget class.

Anonymous, 31 Dec 2015lie lie lie.e4g in daylight takes photos that are 2.5 mb in... morebro, keep calm at night just go outside and see camera quality.I dont Care about Photo size. please try moto x play camera and then compare camera quality. after installing whastapp and some other apps sand 2-3 normal games please tell space left in your e4g. at last I want to say that I was unable to play gta sa in e4g but Now able to play on gta sa on moto x play. the latest version of music app remains white for 3-4 seconds. android kitkat. just take selfie why it makes the face fully change. it makes it fully blurred. it looks artificial not real.in moto x play I can install fifa, asphalt, dead space,gta sa at one time without lagging.while charging its touch not works correctly. moto x play has 2gb ram.however I am sorry that I have said not to buy this phone. who wants to buy this phone please buy but I will not take interest in Any Sony phone.

One question for this smartphone only. Anyone know how to encrypt sd card on this phone? I saw there is only encryption for full phone,but I dont like full,only SD card encryption.

optional, 31 Dec 2015 please don't buy e4g. you will regret if you buy.I bought ... morelie lie lie.e4g in daylight takes photos that are 2.5 mb in size.and they look better than my motog 3.i am no fanboy like you and i know how to give credit to a deserving company... in this case sony.e4g has better display than any moto phone.way better.e4g takes better daylight photos inspite of only 5mp camera.the apps are not useless. back up restore app backs up all your whatsapp,messages,gmail messages to sd card with password protection. Xperia lounge gives you many new xperia themes free every week... SONY MUSIC APP SOUNDS SO GOOD THAN USELESS GOOGLE MUSIC ON MOTOROLA. YEAH YOU CAN'T INSTALL MORE THAN 3 BIG GAMES AT SAME TIME...SO WHAT??E4G IS THE BEST SMARTPHONE FOR MOVIE BUFFS WITH GREAT display,great sound,great battery... and at 8000k in india only.hangouts is useless??and all moto phones come with all.those apps mentioned.

please don't buy e4g. you will regret if you buy.I bought it for gaming about 4 months ago. I searched on YouTube gaming was fabulous.I saw games like gta san Andreas so I bought it buy I don't know it was Sony.mobile system is taking about 3.3 gb.I thought I will move games and apps to sd card but except 3-4 games no more games and apps moves to sd card.I can't install gta sa, asphalt 8 etc.it's processor, ram is able to run high end games but there is no memory to even install those games.so why waste money on processor and other technology of this phone. next about camera it takes maximum upto 500 kb only at daylight.its front camera automatically changes our photo and makes it fully blur.so no selfie at all could be think from this phone.Sony apps like backup and restore, Dive, hangouts, line, liv sports, live on YouTube, lounge, photos, play games, play book, play movies, play newsstand, sketch, sony select, support, what's New etc are useless which can't be uninstalled so very useless phone. camera quality at night in traffic is more clear on my Nokia c201 then e4g. all those have e4g phone just go at night out side and see camera quality it becomes useless. now I have sold this useless phone and bought moto x play which Is actually a smartphone..... internal memory 32 gb so I can play gta sa. waterproof, android lollipop and planned upgradable to marshmallow.in daylight it clicks photos from 5to6 mb usually.no useless apps on moto.

Check out mtk6732 specs on mediatek site it says 4k playback.
