Your quoted Post from sonyblog (http://blogs.sonymobile.com/2015/10/06/sony-xperia-and-android-6-0-marshmallow/) doesn't say anything about updates for other phones, than the mentioned ones.
Beside: it will take months to provide the Android 6 update to high-end and middle-class xperias first. By then, probably next spring, Sony will reveil the next Generation of the e-series (E5) with Android 6 and some minor hardware improvements. So why should they care about the E4/E4g? Did they do so with E3 or the first E?

I read that u wrote. U just making rumor discussion, coz not me, nt u can't say what will be in future. I just wrote that was with pthers oldest budget smartphone - Sony never updating budget smartphone into latest operating system if u disagree proof it that they uptading and don't call me that something wrong with me. Ua re not expert here so shut up if u don't have any official and trust informations and yrs rumors take care with u :)
