From 8GB some GB is for operating system, other for yr apps, video and music files. In all devices, including memory card is the same. U will never have all space in smartphone which is mentioned in specifications.

I bought this Xperia E4G yesterday and laterly found that memory internal total space is 4,73 GB not 8 GB. Should be it like that or my phone is a fake ? Thanks

You need to insert (push) a needle-like object like a pencil lead and dhen try to turn it on again. See if it works...

my Sony E4g said optimizing and then it shut down it self when I try to switch it on it doesn't power on then I tried to charge it ,it just shows a red light but not getting full need help please?

I have C5 Ultra with Lollipop and I have E4G so I can say u are right, most changes are just look, no new features I did not found. But I bought C5 Ultra for one of most reasons - phone memory. I have little more that 9GB free memory for my apps and ect., in the E4G is just more than 4GB, camera in the E4G is only 5MP, in the C5 Ultra both 13MP, C5 ultra will get Marshmallow, E4G will not get any update - my opinion. C5 Ultra is much faster that E4G so it's not just update, but I wrote just for user which crying that they not getting update - buy new smartphone and u will get :) If u did not understood most of my post is sarcasm, joke and laught from people which crying for update. Marshmallow u will not get, lollipop don't have more features that have E4G.

Apps are working, phone is super quick with kitkat so no one should feel bad about it.

My screen today self cracked (from left to right side,no whole screen) ,after charging. Idk this isn't first charging but why now? I have still warranty of this phone. I also read too many comments about self cracking from premium phones from Sony too.. What to do?

User C5 (Ex E4G), 18 Apr 2016How I understood u rooted it (how?) coz transfer data files... moreIndeed it would be better if it had 16GB of internal storage, but we can't be too picky here, don't forget the price here, because everything is proportional to it here (i got mine at 110euros by the way). Although there are many devices that can be found at the very same price, but are hard to find at the right time (you need to search on ebay, amazon ect many times to be lucky to find a good price). For the sake of prices here i just found the other day that 'lenovo k3 note' is over 90 $ on aliexpress which is a hi-specs phone.
But i have questionable beliefs about it's longevity as a phone.
Now back to the E4G, it's true only some apps can be moved to the sdcard and i do not bother to root it (not interested), although if you want to root it just google and you'll find many tutorials. As for the camera i really can't complain (remember price again). If i wanted a better camera i would have spent some more money and have bought a better phone.
And lastly, i would say that comparing this phone with what's in the market now for it's price would be totally pointless, because a year has passed, and we all know how much technology changes in that short amount of time, thus be given to us in a more comfortable price.(see lenovo above, it's price was 140$ on special sale and with a normal price of 200$, but now it costs only 90$) (although i do have my concerns about the sudden drop, maybe it has to do with it's quality or something)
Ps: Yeah, a marshmallow update would be cool.
