This phone is really awsome.. Fast, quality, the best... I dont give a damn about update because e4g on 4.4.4.is flying. I have many smartphones wich comes update and after update the phones get worst then before update...

U can transfer only some apps. So it's problem this phone and is - memory, like and others smartphone which have less than 16 GB inside. Camera of this phone comparing with C5 Ultra which I have today is worse, but Xperia E4G have only 5 mp camera so it's not high end camera. All others in E4G I like too. By the way about update - Lollipop C5 Ultra already have, will have and marshmallow, for me update it's not so important, but u know marsmallow will give many important things, features like doze, which saving ours mobile battery's life, also camera new interface with I think and hope more settings and ect. So sometimes new update is cool. Sad that Sony forgot, I think, coz it's not information after 1 years already) E4G with update, but maybe will come one :)

Great phone for it's price. Have been using it for about 6 months and i'm really satisfyed whit it. It's really fast despite the fact for being a budget phone.

I've seen here many complaits for lack of updates (for lolipop or marshmallow) and to tell the truth i don't really care, every program or game i've installed works fine, and it never lags. And for those who are complaining for malfunctios, try to keep the internal memory over 25% free otherwise the phone will start acting up (as for data, buy a 16gb mem card so you can transfer apps, and you'll do fine), clear the cached data under the storage option on settings (no need for cleaning app), and avoid multiple active programs.

Again it's a really nice phone for it's price, and i personally don't think an android update will make things better, if there will be an update or not time will tell, and as for now all i can say is... VIVA 4.4.4 :D

And for ppl wanti... moreBy the way Xperia E4G will not get any update, it's more that year went after this phone released world wide, so just relax and use phone with KitKat - u will not get Lollipop or Marshmallow :) Buy new phone like I did much expensive if u can and if u want to get newest or latest software update :)

Well this is a great phone for its price. And for ppl wanting new android update, please dont waste time with phones like these. You need to get the latest phone if you want updates for a few years, some phones get more then others. thats just how it is. Do it like me, i dont even care about getting a new update. All i want is a phone that works and all apps i use work. Other then that. Who cares, :)

In my country people buying smartphones after 2 yers, when warranty going to end. By the way why i need second expensive smartphone if i bought perfect one now? Silly, jelious message was from u. I don't getting what u want to say. Only i feeling how u jelious.

Don't jelious, that u will not get Lollipop or Marshmallow update or u can not buy expensive smartphone. I wrote true - if u want better care, updates of softwares, buy better smartphone.

Learn what is size of phablet and smartphone.And by the way updates will last only next 2 years only after that no updates even no security updates.Only iPhone had 4 years of updates, 2 more than android+ iPhone updates even older smartphones no like Google only newest..

I got Lollipop 5.1 on Sony Xperia C5 Ultra Dual which released some months later than Sony Xperia E4G. So, guys... Biys and girls, i think Sony Xperia E4G wiil not get any update, coz still aren't any informations too. So my advice is to buy little expensive more, but better Sony device an u will get i think latest and newest software updates at this time ;-)

AnonD-500224, 21 Mar 2016I owe that phone for 8 months and I can tell you that I hav... moreU know when I bought Sony Xperia E4G I knew I will need other, but not for reason, that E4G is bad, but for reason that in Sony Xperia E4G is lilltle memory. So I bought Sony Xperia C5 Ultra. What can I say about E4G? It's mid-rage smartphone, but is good smartphone if this phone have memory more that 8GB and for user more than 5GB, I will not be bought other. Yes camera is just 5MP, 1,5 MHz and ect. But it's still good phone. Lagging? All mobile lagging if u always using it and don't removing cache files, u need just remove memory and that's all. Smartphone it's like computer if u using all memory ram or eternal u need clean it. E4G it's one of the best by his price. So if u have bad experience with this phone it's not mean that phone is bad. Most of user which wrote here said that they glad this phone. So maybe problem is with yr using? Try use smart and maybe u will change yr mind about it ;)

I owe that phone for 8 months and I can tell you that I have not such a good experience.From day one it stacked and I couldn't do anything at all so I returned it to the shop and they gave me a new one. Since then I've sent it to service twice in 4 months.The characteristics seemed to me good in a quick look but they are not so good as I wondered. It laggs all the time and it has a terrible screen resolution. There few months I have bought it and now I need a new phone.

johnD, 09 Mar 2016I have just taken delivery of a new Sony e4g and have foun... moreIt's mid-range phone, new or not it's not flagman, so if model will have all new features this moel will not be mid-rage :D If u want magnet sensor, buy Sony C5 Ultra Dual or Single version like I did. I have Lollipop and will have Marshmallow, phone uch better than E4G and I don't have any problems now :)

Need time to tes, tocreayewithout bugs update and ect. Be patience and will come (maybe, coz aren't any news about new update for E4G) update ;)

I have just taken delivery of a new Sony e4g and have found that (a) it does not have a magnetic sensor, and (b) it is not OTG compatable... not very good for a new phone!!
