Stock, stock based, CM, CM based, AOSP, AOSP Based, XOSP (also android M for CM, AOSP and XOSP)
even smoother on debloated stock 5.1.1 rom
well, I think the problem is not the android version, but the dev team of the phone rom
as long as they can provide a smooth rom, version does not matter

Lollipop requires more than 1GB to run smoothly, whether it's a custom ROM or stock. Putting a custom ROM may help, but still isnt enough

Even sony Xperia X has 3GB ram.
Why would sony make their E5 2 GB ?
1.5 GB ram not a problem.
The problem i see in this phone is it doesnt have usb host otg support.
Sony always removes otg from entry level.
dont know why?
mtk 6735 is good. it should is better than sd410 in gaming and performance.
