Hi there try these sites (links below) I successfully rooted my f3311 E5. Just make sure to put supersu on the sd card as a zip file. also have a look at the you tube site .Remeber you must unlock the Bootloader from the sony website (free just follow instructions).This
method is the only way to root E5 do not try any of the other methods on you tube.They Just dont work!!! hope this helps. :-)

I have just got a Experia E5 and the last phone I had was a standard Doro, so I expected a full instruction booklet telling what to do. No there is not one with the phone and when I was told by Videophone to get it up on the internet and print it off it would not do this, but I could send for one for about £12. How disappointing and what a ripoff. I am quite worried now after reading some of the other comments. Oh well we live & learn.

Of course it will drai... moreHello, my mine's not.. just activated your STAMINA function when playing game or watching movies and your phone can lived for 8+hours without charging but absolutely you'll get your notification late.. don't forget to turn off the STAMINA again when you've done..
So dishonestly, this phone doesn't have Gyroscope.. i had a VR but it's useless now and this phone cannot play on Extreme Graphic game, just stay on Low Graphic or Normal..

J5 2016 will receive 7.0 sometime later this year. How's that for Samsung not caring about it's midrange phones?
