the back cover of my xperia go doesnt close really tight. i still can see some of the interior(that has q turquoise color right?) will this affect the water proof-ness of the phone? I bought it here in the philippines. now i'm afraid to drop it in water

I just bought this phone couple of days ago, and it's already dead. And the worst thing is, the warranty might be void, just because some water leak.
A water resist Hand Held, dead because there is some water leak into it's core, and good bye warranty.
I was told I was using it wrong, I have to dry the phone before I can get it wet again. Wew, talking about commercial issue.
Now, I just sit and wait, I have to pay or Sony become kind to me and fix it without any more money to spend on a water resist phone that died because water leak.
But this HH is great, overall. Games works fine, video streaming is great, voice is clear and the size is fit for my hands.

its a good phone...but I just updated my XPERIA GO last night to 6.0.B.3184 in connection on LOSING SIGNAL. Guess what??? The problem of losing signal is NOT SOLVED! Updating to 6.0.B.3184 would not help! Right now (while typing this post) i don't have signal on my phone!!! And if there is signal the bar goes up and down to 1 bar until nothing to see.
It looks like a hardware problem not a software! The antenna is very poor!
Another issue of this phone is the audio. If you are using viber, skype, supervoip, mobilevoip the other line would complain that the audio is so low that sounds like very "far" from the microphone. I even asked my friend to put the volume in high but still no changes. I tried it on several wi-fi but the audio still the same - very low!
I like a phone with waterproof feature but this xperia go really disappointed me!

this phone is sooo good, to the point that i cant eat without the phone hanging on my neck, the screen scratched resistant that i tried slicing it with an axe but woah no scratch at all, and i also try the water resistatnt feature and drop it in atlantic ocean and live it there for 1 year, but still it works fine...the only bad thing about this phone is that it has a Sony logo on it...

b) Xperia S... moreGo for Xperia Go and the reasons:
a)It is the scratch resistance screen as Sola has the ASfilm and very easily to get the scratches;
b)bigger display but same battery, even lower battery performance;
c) water proof is more useful than NFC especially for me, dont worry about my dog and baby to play with my phone.
d) about the display size, it is not big problem as the display is better than you expectation.

about the scratch resistant screen i already proved it .. i tried to scratch it by a big knife and a scissor still don't have any marks .. it's really awesome and i also tried wash it with soap and still fine .. only drawback about this phone is the battery backup and it's speaker.. overall very nice for 12.400 with a dual core cpu..tnx sony..

Have it for a few weeks, so far it is a lot better than my previous phone (wildfire). I haven't put it under water (not even going to), but I have dropped it a few times - got a couple of dents on back case. The main WARNING for potential buyer is about screen - it is NOT scratch proof (walking up 4 stairs once while sharing pocket with the keys - 2 deep scratches). Battery lasts 1 day with wifi/data on & less than medium usage (no gaming). Without those - 2 days. Network drop problem - solved after last update. So my suggestion - get Sola if you're for Sony.

main drawbacks from other users/////
*no front facin cam(i am not worried)
*cheap back cover(not dat worried)
*occasional lag (its not sg s3:P )
*network reception problem(hav 2 update phone as others say ,but very much worried )
*battery(almost all android r lik dat...a bit worried)
*screen size(hav 2 tink,spendin 19k for a 165ppi device??)
shud i still buy dis?? help me guys....
i am not interested in other phones as of now...
any good upcoming android mob wid good specifications?? my budget is 15000-20000 INR...

i have been using this mobile since 2 weeks n i can say its the best mobile phone i have ever use! Its doing more than wat was heared abt this phone. peformance, features all is great..! only dissapointment i gets is the quality of speaker is not upto the mark even if it has the Xloud but i sud say its not suits Sony phone.Also one more disadvantage is its running on gingerbread, but hope that Sony will resolve it very soon. they r far behind in this category other companies has already introduced Jellybean bt we r still waiting for ICS. TOO SAD. One most important thing i noticed abt the phone is its charging time..!! gets fully charged in abt 1 hr..very very impressive.i love this phone.

Can you suggest which is better?
a) Xperia go
b) Xperia Sola
c) Samsung galaxy advanced
I am confused because they dont have ICS now probably they wont get jelly bean in future,
Sola has NFC, Xperia go is Water Proof Samsung galaxy advanced has better battery and I find lot of compilents for Xperia GO..
Suggest me please...
