Amazing phone.. The network issue is also resolved wid the help of system update. And the phone is just to good and cheap as well.. The only thing missing is ICS 4.xxxx, waiting for that..

I just purchased the phone hoping that this will be my last phone (I frequently change the phone) but I find that the back side cover of the phone does not fit properly with the body. When I hold the phone in my hand it gives creep sound and feel like a cheap toy, don't tell me it's a water proof, dust proof and scratch resistance phone (I know that already). The phone is not a solid built with the back cover. If you remove that cover it's ok then who the hack will want to use with the cover. It's so sad that the gsm arena doesn't mention about this.

can you take pictures underwater? i've only seen videos shot underwater, not pictures.

All specs mentions here are really superb, Other than No front facing camera. dats the only thing disappointed with this phone

AnonD-64549, 08 Aug 2012how you solve this problem?if buy now would have this problem?Yes, this problem is present. But Sony released a firmware upgrade for this this phone which resolves the network loss issue. I upgraded my mobile to this firmware and its fantastic now!! No network problems :)

I was the 1st one to buy this phone in India...!!!

6 days back, I received my new sony xperia go from Flipkart.
3 major problems, I faced:
1) mp3 was not working on head phones (head phones was alright as i tried it on different devices as well as I tried different head phones with my piece).
This was the major problem, no one can live with.
Flipkart did their part, they have assured me a replacement within 9 working days. Thanks Flipkart.
2) If there is no network, i go to network settings and try to change network mode from automatic to manual to search network manually. but for my surprise i am unable to do so. as soon as i click manual mode and click ok, it again goes back to automatic mode.
This was also a major problem.
3) Network drop problem. it seems everyone reported this on gsmarena. i too got the latest update but i really don't know if that solves the issue. and because of the 2nd issue mentioned by me, i dont have the option to search and select a network. I have to restart my phone everytime.
Looking for a better phone this time.
