This phone has almost all features same as... moreI saw this phone on demo in one of the shops here. Low resolution is not recognizable. Frankly, the screen looked great to me with sharp image and video quality and crisp text. The 165ppi resolution is great unless you are obsessed high specs and HD quality. Instead, low resolution would mean better performance, since the processor does not have to spend excessive cycles in Graphic processing.
One major clarification is that it DOES NOT HAVE A SEC. CAMERA.
About the dust and water resistance, the shopkeeper dipped the phone inside a fish tank and demonstrated this. I got a chance to use the phone with the wet screen and the touch worked perfectly fine.
Disappointments: Battery life should have been better considering this phone is made for "outdoor" use. So, if you're travelling and on low battery without a charger, you're probably stuck without being able to change the battery.

This phone has no secondary camera. Please, I don't know why nobody reads the user guide, it's all there:

gsmarena change the specs of this PHONE camera.yesterday there is no yes in secondary camera but now..secondary camera having yes VGA? maybe sony will launched xperia go with secondary camera? but it would be great if this is true that this is having a front cam ..too crazy!

Just checked the manual, there is no front facing camera.

Been using this for less than a week, bought this as the waterproof and shock /dust proof attracted me (dropped iphone in toilet). Love the yellow one as always wanted a sports walkman in the 80s, also don't want to be an iPhone lemming anymore.
Knew this phone has low res but it's not too bad, and understand its price range and also low res's lower demands on battery. Don't watch movies on phone so it's fine for me.
Battery life is better than I expected can last for at least a day on full charge with moderate use.
Design and build is good, Android 2.3.7 is zippy and robust.
There IS a task switch, just keep pressing the Home key, though you can't end tasks by swiping a la ICS.
Had yet to take it to test drive at the beach or by the pool!
The yellow version's accessories are OK, not the best quality.
Lastly, love the yellow version as it stands out from the rest of the iPhone / Samsung world!!

And I want to take the phone to my bike rides and to the pool.

Hi friends...
This phone has almost all features same as XPERIA U..only difference is low resolution screen in XPERIA GO vs that colr changing stripe in XPERIA U..
I don't think that XPERIA U Screen is so bad as it has same resolution as Samsung galaxy ace and ace screen is not that bad..Also, with bravia engine, i think XPERIA U must have much better luking screen that galaxy ace..
Also, GO's screen is wider that XPERIA U which makes it screen look little big and gud...
However,I sm really confused whether GO has secondar camera for video call or not.GSMARENA is showing in speciafications that it has secondary camera, however on other sites it is nowhere mentioned..
Could anyone how has bought this phone, please confirm does this phone really has secondary camera??
And, what about screen??is it really too bad????

read a lot about low resolution. But in real life the Bravia Engine makes up to it. Had a hands on yesterday no issues with it Super resolution :)

Guys its useful..but too cost in india..its nearly comes around 19k. in that rate you can get HTC ONE V which is far better than this phone....
