It's funny to read complaits of the resolution or battery.
This is not a perfect high-end model, this is a compromise. If this phone had better specs, price would be higher, and everyone would complain that.
If you want better phone, you can choose Xperia acro S. ;)

Just as pointless as it was on the SII, to low res- to benefit from the Mali. Why is it so difficult to make a phone which is better than the original Motorola DEFY? Only one who did this far is Motorola themselves,with DEFY+. Which is the best rugged android available.

Those low end phones have very good batteries and the Xperia P, along with some others have a weaker one. And the Xperia U doesn't have an SD card slot but the lower end ones have. If they fix these things their phones will be excellent.

Although it have a low resolution, but because of bravia tech, this make it have no problem. The only worry only the battery. I'm now using his brother, active, it have no problem when I'm not using the 3g, but when I turn it on, it only work for 4hrs or less. And some more it was not dual core... other than this I still love the phone, and I'm waiting the yellow coming: )

If only it got a better battery life and a front camera!!! I absolutely love the intro video. Great water prove and dust prove. Can be used even with a wet hand.

I don't like non-replaceable batteries at all, but it's trend today. And that's not only Sony's problem.

i like this phone,
but i'm worried about the battery.
1305mAh for Dual Core 1Ghz, miro has better standby time for 800MHz single core and 1500mAh

Don't be riddiculous, people. If you want high resolution, buy a tablet or a frickin laptop. This is a mobile phone... and it seems to be a great one!
I'm waiting to see some hands-on opinions.

Why can't sony go crazy and equip such phone with high resolution display. Like 540 by 960. 320 by 480 pretty low poor. I will never buy this phone.

No Secondary CAM...
Y are there is such a weak battery in all new xperia phone's.. 1305... is really weak!! the only reason i am sooo disappointed in Sony :(

Why are people whining about no front camera, and low resolution?? Its IP67 rated! If it had all the extra features then it you would end up paying ridiculous prices for it. This keeps it affordable.
Unless of course you really HAVE to look at yourself all the time...
