Richardo, 10 Nov 2013good day im from SA and want to buy this phone for mr ca... moreDont buy this phone, its always hang, n sometimes when someone call u it will respond late, n u will heard people talking after 5 to 10 second u pick up the fon. This my first time I spend alot of money to bought this phone,its too expensive n not worth it. Dont but this, n the camera also could not took pic fast like other smartphone, it will take time to focus,atleast 5to 7 second each pic sometimes more.it depends on ur camera moods. The only best thing is it is waterproof. Dont buy, china made are better than this

I don't know why people are complaining about this phone. I picked up this handset from someone brand new for £85...
The handset is upgradable to Android Jellybean and if your having software issue's I guess you should update, I myself haven't experience the problems being mentioned on here... If you can pick a Xperia GO at a discounted price I would highly recommend you do so.

Dont buy on KIMSTORE!!.. or it will mess your life!. Xperia go is not water resistant, not water proof, not scratch proof. When I first try it underwater it just hung up on the few minutes and they didn't even bother to repair it to the fact that it's still under the warranty.

Hi, ok it should tell you that theres an update available. But you can try backing your phone up onto your PC, and then do a hard reset, it will reset the phone to factory settings.Then, before restoring your phone from your PC, go to the update centre and see if it will give you the Jellybean update. And then once you have that, restore your phone. Doesn't your phone have a small notification at the top of the screen telling you that a new version of Android is available? Because Sony released the phones with an OTA update, as in the phone will tell you out the box that there's new Android. Older phones notified users of ICS, then Jellybean, and soon they'll notify of KitKat. Let me know if this helps, I think a hard reset might get the PC to recognize that you don't have Jellybean.

What I suggest is, back your phone up onto your PC, then do a hard reset. Once this is done it will be as if it's a new phone, without restoring your information from your PC back onto your phone, update to Jellybean. Then put your info back onto your phone. Does your phone give you a small message at the top of the screen that there is a system update available? Let me know if this doesnt work, :).

Peppsgp, 04 Nov 2013I intend on buying this handset, Please tell me should i go... moreIt depends on your network operator and mobile phone company, basically when an update comes out on and your phone can run it spec wise and Sony have announced that the phone will update if this is the case you may want to go to the Sony website and manually update via USB cable but iev never done it that way but feel free to try, unlike nexus devices which get android updates instantly other phones running on android will have to wait a while due to Google making sure that the firmware is stable on the phone and will manage new the new update also your network provider may affect when you receive your update. If your still stuck go to Sony support on their website and post your question that's what I did and they were very helpful!
