i noticed a lot of you guys are complaining about the phone being laggish.i also experienced the same. i think, what makes it lag is the preinstalled mcafee antivirus when u updated it to ice cream sandwich. i deleted the app and my phone works faster and the battery is also axtended. the RAM available when the phone is running also became bigger, from 100mb-120mb to 150-190mb. now, i can play Nun attack and subway surf without any problems.

hey guys i'm using it for 2 weeks. best phone ever. i got batery life for more than 4 days (only 5hours wi-fi on)... 4 days on standby just for messages, calls and games. keep it on gb. it's like windows xp, while ics and jb are like windows vista. seriously we need android 5.0 like windows 7. till then keep using gb. ics and jb not worth for xgo.

Used this phone for 2 months. Not actually bought by me but it was bought by my room mate but i used it a lot and its actually a very good phone and also looks good but wanna share sumthin imp with those who are buying it - Do consider motorola defy plus also before bying bcoz both the phones are water resistant. both look good. But both have some pros and cons over each other -
the differences -
1) Go has a better processor and doesn't lags at at all... works very smooth as compared to defy +
2) Defy + has better screen quality 265 ppi that makes its screen to look very alive as compared to Go.
3) Sony has better services in India so again defy plus lags behind.
4) But again if dimensions are taken into account then you'll notice that defy + is much smaller and can be handed and operated easily by one hand. Even though smaller in size it has bigger screen.
I was also very confused among the two. Main confusion arises due to brand value in India bcoz motorola has left off this country. So the question is for services. Finally after thinkin a lot i bought defy plus. No doubt a very good phone xcept the fact that it has a single core processor and works slower than xperia Go. No regrets on decision but i also know that there is no prob with the other one too... both the phones are very very good at this price...

xblade, 13 May 2013i jst updated it to Jellybean here in the Philippines. and ... moreim also from the philippines but i can't update my xperia go to jellybean, when i do,its says that i already have the lastest sofware. how did u update it to jelly bean?

After jelly bean update, camera quality of my xperia go falls heaven to hell..... when it was in GB, camera was smooth and good quality in lowligh... Now worst in lowligh. I think it is common for all Xperia phones under JB..

hai guys , iam using this hand set for almost 3 months,it is the best one with out doubt ..yaa its true it has max water resistant i have tested plenty times as demos for others , but the camera is lit bit laggy ,and the speed is descent ,over all it s superb.....
my choice is go .....

This is a great phone, you will always feel happy with it :) most wonderful feature is 'Water proof'
and its CPU and GPU, very powerful.
Only cons is, its RAM, but still, works very find and no front camera, which actually barely use by us:)
This phone worth to spending money on it. I am loving it

i jst updated it to Jellybean here in the Philippines. and it runs lightning fast!! superb! kudos Sony

I'm due for an upgrade and I'm looking for someone to topple the scale either into me getting the Xperia or not.Have had a BB for the last two years and have been very happy with it,to some it might not be a big issue as to what phone to take but it is for me and the Xperia is one of the more decent looking phones in the price range I am looking at.I know Sony make good electric products but I know nothing about their phones,in fact,I have never seen one while its in action.I want to get the Xperia Go but I read that the resolution isn't that great by todays standards,half of the other things about the phone I didn't really understand.I am an avid gamer,not to say I'm looking for a phone to play only games on,but I know about graphics and picture clarity as well as sound and I don't want to be disappointed.Could someone please give me some feedback.

Am using it for 2 months and no problem workz fine. Gaming experiance was amazing its using cortex A9. And am using jellybean update fine working.
