AnonD-171525, 02 Aug 2013my camera is not good as before from last update through so... moreDude,watch your camera lens closer,u will see some scratches and the coating on the lens is getting off.I was exactly facing the same problem 3 months before.So i went the service center and they replaced the inner panel which holds the lens.The quality backs to normal as they were before.But the problem is back again.So i am taking my phone again to the service center the day after tomorrow .Of course my phone is under warranty.Back there in the service center one guy told me that he was facing the same problem again and again and forced to sell his phone.Don't worry if your phone is under warranty then it will get replaced.I wish i have helped you.

yes i updated my sony ion via pc companion. having waited for long long time suddenly sow someone hv posted switch off windows firewall & disable virus guard before checking nw update. it worked for me in srilanka. just check it friends :)

Finally I got jb for my ion in India via pc companion now check ur ion and jb it is really great

saeed, 01 Aug 2013if you can't update through sony pc companion,may be the so... morei did as you said. I turn off firewall of my windows laptop and then checked the update with pc companion. It showed the update. I updated the phone. But my phones battery is draining like hell. Almost by 1% for a minute. What do i do now?

my camera is not good as before from last update through sony pc comapnion..the auto focous problem is held in my phone.the pictures are not crisp n clear as before,the photo r some how blurry n not sharpen at all.my lense is absolutly clear but the problem is still hang on.i checked in internet that many guys having the same camera problem then they got the same blurry photo.

i m not at all happy with this only camer problem wid a high end device from sony...

if you can't update through sony pc companion,may be the solution is to turn windows firewall off and try again.it worked for me!

Hi,
I bought a red Ion around 3 months ago. It has developed a camera problem recently. It doesn't focus clearly and shoots blurred images.
Took it to the authorized service centre and was told this model was prone to having the lens on the rear panel scratched. A replacement costing Rs. 1500 was advised. Another Ion user was also there with the same complaint. The service agent shot images without the panel and they were as good as original.
Still, I'm very upset at facing such a problem from a reputed brand and a proven phone. I had done a lot of research and decided on an Ion over the SP - cost and features (especially the 12MP camera and in-built memory) being major deciders

Hey I got the solution of this problem..Uninstall all the antivirus/battery saver/task killer apps from your phone, and then charge the phone whole night while turn it off.

Hi I have a strange problem since last 2/3 weeks...my battery label going down with to 1% with in a second it reaches to 14/15%. What is the cause of this behavior ? any one have any idea please share how to rectify this....

also with xperia z,zl,zu,zr,sp all will be get andro 4.3... sony is plang old models with 4.1 to get direct 4.3 version... although the old models havnt been listed... im sure ion is in the list along with xperia S
