I just updated my Sony ion LTE,N complain at all the Battery is much stable than before and the Bluetooth connect to a distance of 19metres away from the device.Dual cores are better than quad,quad consumes ore power.

i was gonna buy this xperia ion partly because of it's lte equipped radio, but then i saw the xperia s(white, i'm sucker for white phones) and i bought it. seems like the networks in the philippines won't be rolling out lte services or if they do, it's still on beta and i'm sure will ask for huge payment for subscriptions. i guess i won't be needing lte for the moment. i'm happy with ics 4.0.4 on my xperia s( and hopefully jellybean via the aosp thing) *for those who want a more responsive capacitive on screen buttons, don't put any screen protector on your xperia

Hey all,
I am going to be getting a new Android phone soon, and I am currently torn between this and the Samsung Galaxy S3. Both run with basically the same plans (this one is slightly better), but I really prefer the look and feel of this phone over the S3... Basically, I was wondering if I would be stupid to buy this phone over the S3? I know that it has somewhat outdated specs in some regards... But frankly, I'm not a power smartphone user (this will be my first smartphone actually). Which is better?

They have almost the same features like NFC and LTE both have scratch resistance coating. One is gorilla glass the other is Sony "mystery glass" I only call it that because I have no clue what coating they use. Nonetheless it works, I choose the ion because I love Sony phones, but you can't go wrong when it comes to the phones.

Sony high end NXT line has been getting very little spot light to the point that most people are ignoring the specs inside the phones. This is my personal opinion if you look at the pure specs it favors the Xperia Ion and her twin sister Xperia S. but if your going by reviews then most of them are gonna favor HTC One X device. Truthfully its all up to you.

I upgraded to ICS yesterday. It kept going back between 105 and 107 a few times before it stopped. But all is good now. If it takes a while (more than 1 hr) after the upgrade is downloaded, do a reset and it will finish.

ICS is out for the Xperia Ion LTE version just connect your phone to PC companion to start the update.
