The screen is just to big for my liking, I can't see my self holding it up to my hear during a phone call, I don't even think it could fit in my pocket.

f.p.d, 14 May 2012guys plz advice sony xperia ion or xperia arc s IMO it all depends on what you are going to use the phone for, if your person who just uses their phone to call, text, & browse the internet then go for the Arc S. If you do other things besides that with your phone like video chat or play graphic heavy games then go with the Ion. Again it all depends on what you are going to do with the phone.

i had enough on this phone, last sunday i brought Galaxy Note and at this moment i love you this phone. good luck to all still waiting for this phone.

Only things I would change about this phone is the chipset, CPU & GPU should have S4 krait dual-core cpu with adreno 225 or higher & it would go from a good phone to a great phone. Really hope Sony fixes the capacitive keys sensitivity issue too, I wonder how it would look & feel with ICS.

Why u should choose SONY Xperia Ion over Samsung Galaxy S III
1.Better Camera..or i should say best camera on an Android OS based phone
2.Dual Core..it's more than enough what u do on a mobile phone...unless u are a big
time gamer & like to play 3D games.
3.Better UI..seriously Samsung's TouchWiz UI sux.
4.The design..Sleek,Simple but yet stylish.
Why u shoul choose Samsung Galaxy S III over Sony Xperia Ion
1.Exynos 4212 Quad core processor...
2.Out of the Box ICS..for Sony Xperia Ion it is yet to be seen whether it is ICS or will need be upgraded later
3.Smart Stay eye tracking (hv to wait for the reviews how much it is functional)
4.Slightly better battery life over Sony Xperia Ion

Does any1 here used sony android phone before?
i really scare of buying phone which will be leftout without getting update firmware after1year. Exmple on bada, look at what samsung done to s8500 users. i hope that sony won't treat us like what samsung done.

Sony ION, why only available thru AT&T. You are limiting your sales, it's no brainer really.I'm a T-Mobile plan holder. I'd like to buy ION, but I don't like AT&T's service.
