Sony Xperia J8010 "Sphinx" gets closer to launch, international firmware spotted
Firmware for the Sony Xperia J8010 “Sphinx” has been spotted on XperiFirm, a third-party repository for Xperia firmwares. If the name doesn’t ring a bell, it’s one of two 5G Sonys that should be unveiled soon.
The phone may be called Xperia 1s or 1v or some variation like Xperia 1 5G (or even Xperia 2). A User Agent profile for the J8010 leaked and it showed a 3,840 x 1,644px screen, same as the Xperia 1.
There was a second device too, J8210 “Horus”, which was listed as having a 16:9 1080p screen, but that’s possibly a placeholder for the official values. Unconfirmed info suggests that this model will have a 6” OLED panel, down from the 6.5” screen of the Xperia 1.
The Sony Xperia Sphinx and Horus may be unveiled at IFA 2019, which starts September 6. Sony unveiled the Xperia XZ3 at last year's event, but since both Sphinx and Horus are expected to have 5G modems, they are unlikely to be the "XZ4" (unless there's an LTE version).

I don't think X2 will replace X1 at any meaning. It's complicated to explain, but here's I what I know. From what I gathered from lots of sources, Sony Mobile used to work XZ3's successor in XZ4 moniker, that will look like XZ3 but with a dual camera...

Wrong. Try this, years before Z model Sony. Casio/LG was first wateresistant phone in 2005. Moto Defy was first Android water resistant phone. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ad8PFj9ydFY
