SameerSG, 19 Dec 2013Dear Apache, You are correct, that XPERIA L was with 4.1 J... moreit's not only in xperia l buddy most of the 8 gb devices provide you the memory of 5 gb or so as the rest will be taken by system app...n regarding RAM try to update the firmware via flashtool (you can still get all the official updates)...4.2.2 has done good job atleast for me.. i found better ram management and good battery backup after update except few bugs which doesn't bother me...in 4.2.2 you get the advantage of disabling bloatwares like those facebook and social apps which helps you to minimise impacts of those on your RAM

Subway surfer game is running excellent after update 4.2.2 on my Xperia l...
Please do following things..
>1st install it...
>go to settings
>then app
>in app click subwaysurfer
>then move to phone memory
Then it works perfectly....

xperia l is an awesome phone it has a very unique pretty design.i like sony brand phones very much of their uniqueness and the finnish of the phone.
i was very much confused whether to go for xperia l or samsung s2 plus but after through studies i choose l.
excellent camera what i looked for.
it has good stylish vivid display.
fits into hand so nicely.
superb interface.
set of sony applications.
xloud feature.
and so on.THIS IS MY FIRST PHONE & I'M SATISFIED VERY MUCH.

You are correct, that XPERIA L was with 4.1 JB. Sincere apology for saying that XPERIA L was packed with ICS.

Today I bought XPERIA L for INR 15,800/-
My first day experience
= Display clarity satisfying, sharp display for human eye.
= Display brightness is good, could able to see in shining noon at 2:00PM without putting stress on eyes
= Attached Apple in-ear Headphones, sound clarity as expected from Sony. Too good.
= Loudness on ear phones perfect for me. No surrounding noise disturbance.
= Touch was disappointing for me. Not feather touch like Nokia Lumia 510 (I am already using it and this costs just INR 8,200/-).
= Another issue with interface, when making scroll and in middle of it, if you hold the finger, then screen starts shaking and after release most of time undesirable selection happened to be seen.
Don't know whether touch issues solved in JB 4.2.2 as if for now my phone is on ICS.
For me only two points about touch are being disappointing. Rest of phone works.
Actual usable internal storage is 4.2GB not 8GB
Device storage is 1.5GB
Actual available RAM 786MB not 1GB (1024MB)
Yet unaware of its notification light, when does it glow, supports which applications for notification.
Only nice indication while charging... Red means battery drained and Green means battery charged. Battery is 3.7V 1700mAh Polymer. Don't know whether 1700mAh is fair for Dual Core CPU.
This is it as if for now. Next review after 7 days. Don't be confused with this phone. It is good practical choice at 15k budget.
For option you may go for Samsung Galaxy Core at price tag 13,000/-
