I've been using this device for about 2 weeks now. quite happy with its performance. no lag on homescreen or gaming ( i play riptide gp2 and dead trigger 2 at high). camera could be better,battery is not very good but not so bad either,it last a day for an hour of browsing,gaming and few times taking pic and call/messaging (I'm on 2g btw). so far i dont face any kind of heating issue or auto restarting problem. only one thing that i really hate from this device,touchscreen is sometime unresponsive compared to my old sgs2. I'm still on fw 4.1 is it worth to update to 4.2? how bout touchscreen response is it better? thx,sorry for my english.

Majority of the users are complaining about the camera quality.
Which is a con of this phone to be honest with you.
Whatever settings you adjust, the pictures taken under low light conditions will not be looking great for an 8MP camera (not that people don't know how to take photographs flexing to the level of light as some criticizers suggest).
This is a true con that this phone has. Other than that this phone is a good mid range device :)

after upgrading the volume of the games have gone down...
is everyone having this same issue??

AnonD-177427, 11 Nov 2013hey apache help me out plz. . confusd betwn xp l nd l720 . ... morehi buddy it depends on your will..indeed lumia 720 has nice display n good camera but not much customizable as android..the camera of lumia 720's is much better than it's predecessor 820...xperia l has same specs as of lumia 720's but can support lot of apps n games n i can bet that xperia l is most powerful mid-range device to the date n this device is even play station certified and has otg support....n people say cam on this device is greatest con the matter of the fact is this device can produce much sharper and detailed image in artificial light n i love it...so if you like the phone with less customised options you can go with lumia or else if games and apps is what you prefer, this beast anyday..i used my friend's lumia 720 for a week and m commenting so it's my experience that m sharing here

hey apache help me out plz. . confusd betwn xp l nd l720 . the display of l720 is far bettr thn xp l as i hav seen both phnes side by side. bt wp8 doesnt hav much apps nd games wt android has. whch one shld i go as iam buying smartphone first time. . rply plz i want ur suggestion7

Jeff, 11 Nov 2013Guys i em realy cnfusd, whch shud i buy nokia lumia 720 or ... moreIf you are existing android user, and u want to try something new, u can go for L720, WP phone. less customization, but excellent performance with great clarity photoes compared to the 8MP cam of Grand/Xperia L. If u dont like WP8 then go for Xperia L. Update to 4.2.2 for better performance.

after upgrading to 4.2.2 i found dat whenever i plug in earfones fone got restart continuosly and when i try to transfer data to sd card then settings got closed
