Dear All,
Please tell me, My phone having old version FW, I want to update it through Sony PC companion, it shows latest software. ( I want to update to 217, but not available for my phone)
What to do, please suggest

I have been using dis phone for few months......so its my experience
build quality
dis is a strong point of dis phone....... better den competing android phones......only phone wid better build is lumia 720
Screen
it is sharp and big enough....... good viewing experience
Camera
many people complained about camera but its....gr8 for price range.... images are sharp and clear....
UI
interface is beautiful but lacks customisation.....but looks better den Samsung's touchwiz........
Performance
with dual core krait processor it gives solid performance,.....for price range....im not hardcore gamer but games like temple run 2 works widout lags..apps working fine....lags are occasional...
sound quality is also good
....
....
...dis phone is great for its price range.....u should go for it
(people worldwide are facing issue of temprory files eating device storage.....dey can be deleted.....and im sure sony will address it soon)

Xperia l speakers are the best ever but handsfree is a little bit less louder than previous 2012 phones

..i am using it since a month and the best thing about xperia l is its sound..they are clear and loud..earpiece is the best i ever heard..and battery time is also great..normally 2 days with good use

James , 28 Sep 2013Xperia M Or Xperia Lxperia M, because its cheaper, and the specs is almost the same, also the 8 mp camera on xperia L is just average, I am using xperia L btw....your choice though

I have purchased this mobile two weeks ago. I am facing one problem. I have 16gb of sony co. sd card in my set earlier I wasusing this card on my samsung wave phone. I am same using the card in sony xl. whenever I takes pictures or videos, it works good in internel memory, but when I moved the data to sd card, it gets currupted/part of the pic/video can be viewed. because of this I also formatted the my sd card. I dont know why this happening. I am not able to move data to sd card. pls help me...
Is this problem in sony mobile or in android os. I googled a lot for this and found that this problem in os. I have not yet upgraded to latest version. I am thinking to replace with it with windows. Pls. help me.

AnonD-177427, 27 Sep 2013confused betwn xperia l and 720 as am first time smartphone... moreIf u are using smartphone for the first time , try the android , because it will give you the best first time experience , u wil learn much thing about smartphone with android , n i think xperia L is the best choice , or u want a smaller one , u can grab sony xperia M , same spec but with smaller screen

Lumia 720 is a good pick but the price factor comes to play as well. If you can afford go ahead with it..
