No problem for GSM since its quadband, but for 3G i dont know if it will support the right frequencies, theres 2 models of L where one support only 900 and 2100, while T-mobile use 2100 it will still not work because frequencies are split between 1700 and 2100 for up and down streams, so you need the C2105 to use when you are in the States.
I guess that the model sold in Philippines is C2105, just check it in the store.

guys go for this phone ... samsung is not gonna provide grand with 4.3 (as it has already provided 4.2.2 update) but their are changes that sony will be providing xperia l directly to 4.3 as most of the blogs are saying this ...

I own this and this is exceptionally good phone. I havent experienced any kinda lag or hang or anything. I came to have a hands on in samsung s duos then only I could realise the superiority of this phone, even the 5mb games are laggig in that one and u guys nevaa go for samsung it will exhibite lag after some days.
