Does sensor light ... morefor those asking what is that red sensor on the top of the phone, it is the proximity sensor..
for example, it acts as a triggering device to put the screen off when the phone is held near the ears..
It has also the same function when it is inside the pocket or inside your bag..if someone calls you,it will ring,but to save battery life, it will not trigger the screen to awake..
for the blinking of it, it might be(since i don't really care about its behaviour) blinking fast if it there's an application that triggers it(example, phone calls,etc)..so for me, in any way it behave, it is normal as long as it is functioning its purpose.. sorry for the not so clear explanation..i'm not good at English.. Asian here..^_^

[deleted post]woah! dude, you really back tracked and read the comments..you also have been able to reply with a comment last May..haha!! thank you for doing that.. i really hope other people would do the same, and try to read past comments since most of their questions about the phone is already answered.. thank you again dude! really appreciate it!
i also read that comment months ago, i really ignored it since the writer was expecting too much for a phone within a cheap price range.. these kind of people are never been satisfied with what XperiaL has/have.. they all want good features in a small and very cheap price.. tsk tsk.. geez..T.T
anyway,i read until now the comments,but i only answer those questions which are significant and most of the time have not been answered yet from the point of view of a regular user.. ^_^

Does sensor light blinks very fast while making call? if yes, then is that same for all the Xperia L phones?
when you close the sensor light with hand, the light glows standard until your on call. When take hand is taken off the light blinks often again till we i am on call. please suggest.....

I brought Xperia L phone , everything holds great!
Guys, please tell me why does the small red light blinks on top of the phone next to Sony symbol which looks like very dim in light and then when you cover with your thumb or finger it blinks little dark. I think it is sensor but why is that very dim in color when it blinks, is that default???? please let me know guys...

Hi, please can anybody help me? I've brand new Xperia L bought just about week ago. I am having an unknown error at the time I am starting my video camera to record video it pauses and the shows the msg "unknown error!" then camera automatically close down. Please help me fix this issue.

Hey frnds..i'm using this fone for a while now and am facing a weird error as com.google.process.gapps stopped unexpectedly and this msg keep popping up every second until i switch off and switch on the fone...
can anybody suggest why is it happening and wht is the solution for it?

The best midrange device ever...no lag in interface or apps...high end games all run smoothly plus after updated to .217 camera takes great pic with image stabilisation n hdr plus interface is improved with smal app features...battery is average but can last more than one day depends on usage and only disadvantage was front camera not so good just vga standard and improved litte bit with.217 update...sound was so loud and good...overall i can give 8/10...:)
