Update the app from google play, and then try. it worked that way for me. i had the same issue.

syed, 23 Aug 2013I think battery quality bad. i don't think the battery is bad quality.. it is a good quality phone.. average battery..but not that great.. just don't install quick-draining apps that always need to be running..you never know what's running on background..i have many applications (twitter,facebook, instagram, foursquare,skype, games, language utilities, default apps of sony, etc) but the battery last a day since i make it to a point that those apps are not running on the background by stopping them or by forcing them to hibernate or sleep using third apps.. be patient with it, and you will be used to it.. ^_^

i updated 15.0.A.2.17 via wifi and on applying update the the device got stuck on start and on removing the the battery and restart again it repeated the problem. Then i took the phone to a mobile shop and a service personal removed my sim and restarted the phone by pressing the power button and volume button and the phone started loading. I havent faced this before since i have used similar type of phones of diff companies and updated also. Is there any problem with the update or phone. Should i continue this type of update plz give an apt openion.....

i bought this phone last week while i tried to update. i got the new version 15.0.A.2.17 after downloading via wifi when i tried to install the device got stuck at the reboot and i tried to restart the phone by pulling out the battery and no response. Then i went to a mobile shop. He pulled out my sim and tried to start the phone with power and i think the volume rocker then it started reloading and completed the update and now working fine. Is there any issue with the update process or it just happened only. Plz give me a correct reply...... i have used many variety of phones and has done update i havent faced this issue. Now i am afraid to make an update in future... Plz give a reply

Mine doesnt drain even 1% for 3 hours even when I turn on my packet Data but the trick is that, for someone like me, who only rely on chat apps, only use 2G data cuz its alrdy fast enough to send n receive chat.
