Does it play 1080P video and/or can it record 1080P video? I know it doesn't, but in Sony website, it's telling that it can record 1080P video. Does anyone have a clear idea in this regard?

Jay, 13 Jun 2013I can do 2 days with the phone with using whatsapp/twitter ... morem using 3g bt da ting is i hardly evn use whatsapp cos of ma schedule...evn on standby atlst 3-4% battery goes in 1.5hrs..basically nly 15-16hrs max da battery lasts nly using whatsapp hardly...i use RAM booster to kill apps too nd i close all apps too... :-(

Guys how do you activate keyboard shortcut like when you're typing a text message (gm- Good morning shortcut)
why does every time I receive a txt message they do not have a pop up notification?
they only show at the top part of the screen which is very small.

The mobile phone is great. Excellent screen, no lag, extra smooth! The camera is very good, but not excellent. In normal daylight photos you will have no problem, but in low light conditions, nothing special!
However, no problem for the average and/or exacting user..
The only (-) is the battery life. With full use (100% screen brightness, bluetooth & wifi & 3G & NFC on and 4 hours of screen on) the battery drains in about 10-12 hours max! It has some battery-save systems, but I have not testet them yet. However, they tell me that with all that use and all the radio on, this is ok!
In conclution: Go and get it NOW! Its excellent for its money (300 euros in Greece).

Its a great phone. Everything works perfectly but its its not scratch resistant. I got an scratch on 3rd day after purchase i dnt know how. this is the only complain.

vigi, 13 Jun 2013is the xperia l really worth the price .i am a gamer ...i w... morei play Dark Avenger(Gamevil) with no issues..the graphic quality is great that you would forget that it is only 228ppi screen.. :D

For satisfaction regarding battery, i give it 8/10..if you are a gamer, the graphic quality is good enough,and it will eat your battery faster than it should be.. I play offline games 2-4hrs a day..
i play online games about an hour..
if you are web browsing, battery does not drain that much, unless you use multiple browser or social apps like FB, Twitter, Instagram, Foursquare..that would definitely drain your battery fast because it activates other processes like GPS,Maps, Google Services,Play Store, etc..
It will really depend on you..if you know how to budget your battery life, it will last the way you want it.. hope that helps.. ^_^
