sony please built to phones , just like w595 / w995 with android system n physical keypads .... not qwerty , also include carl zeiss lens, xenon flash ,stereo speaker, bravia engine... thanxs... can anybody guide which is goog music n camera phones in sony right now , except xperia z / zl.... thanxs.

And this is my second s... moreThe GLONASS is a russian satellite navigation system, like the american satellite system GPS. It works just like the GPS with global cover. The usefulness of GLONASS is for in cases you can't access GPS or simply won't work in your location.
The Lumia 720 features a much larger battery: 8h talk time in Xperia L and 23h on the Lumia 720, the Xperia L have more MP: 8 vs 6.1 from the L720, but the L720 i think have better image sensor.

the xperia l when open a website.it is faster than the s3 when open the mobile site but when open the deskop version.the gs3 is a little bit fast than the xperia l.just 1 second

I am planning to buy this phone...
And this is my second smart phone...
Does it support mini sim (ordinary sim) or micro sim?
And what is GLONASS? what is the use of that feature?
I am also confused between nokia lumia 720 and sony xperia l ....
Nokia 720 does have the glonass...
Sony xperia l does not have glonass?...or it is a hidden feature in this phone?....
And also which one is better for camera and long time use...?
SORRY FOR MY LARGE NUMBER OF QUESTIONS.....

Anonymous, 03 Jun 2013how can it play 1080p videos ???If you have 1080p videos on your external SD, or downloaded a video of that quality, it can be PLAYED smoothly on XL using apps like MX Player or Rock Player (maybe the default video player will do)..
So glad to know that it can be rooted already.. haha!! :D

AnonD-152040, 04 Jun 2013wanna buy a phone... but confused between xperia L ; galaxy... moreIf its between Grand and Xperia L, If u need better Performance , then go for Xperia L ( this thing does play games pretty good | i played Subway surfer, temple run 2, CSR racing, Beach Buggy , Dead Trigger without any issues)
It does sport a pretty average Camera ( the Exmor Lens fails to impress :D), but if sony guys come up with an update to fix the camera issue...then it'll be real run for your money.
Battery life might be a concern.....but for normal use its fine.
It lacks a gyro, doesnt record 1080p videos -> areas where Galaxy Grand has an Edge over Xperia L.
And also would like to add, it dosent have a HDMI port..
But on the whole , Xperia L wont be a disappointing buy.(Except for the Exmor Camera, Sony guys tag this as a camera phone.....:p)
