i feel lumia 720 is better than xperia L.because of big battery,front hd cam,sun light readability,gorilla glass 2 protection,clear black tecnology,ips display etc.

Newer camera
Removable battery
Much better CPU and GPU. Both are dual core but Xperia L has dual core krait - about 25-30% faster. GPU is faster too. Adreno 305 is faster than Mali400(single core)
Newer phone means longer support and more updates.
The screen on the Xperia P is smaller but higher res but this is a small price to pay.

I was considering Xperia P but guess i should wait now, more powerful battery, more powerful camera and bigger screen sadly theres no Bravia Engine but iam ok with it. Hopefully there wont be big price difference in Xperia P or Xperia L as both are 1Ghz Dual core. Not sure if we should expect Android 5.0 on this phone

you my friend are really uninformed the lg optimus g pro is a phone meant for a totally different price/market/consumer segment ( read power craving crowd )
this phone is for those who don't want to spend too much but still have good features
