Keep emptying the LOST.DIR folder from both internal and external storages. Also, in your internal memory the DCIM folder(which stores photoes taken by the phone camera) gets filled up with time. Check and delete duplicate photoes from the thumbnail and camera folders within DCIM folder.

I want to buy xperia L.. Ple... moreXperia L has 8MP back camera and VGA front camera.
Day light photo quality and video quality is superb.
But in the dark it isnt much good eventhough it has a flashlight.Front camera works fine only in brighter lighting environment.

AnonD-197017, 14 Mar 2014This fone is amazing one thing that you cant change about t... moreGo to phone memory using ES file Explorer or some other third party app. Go to DCIM folder.In it you will find thumbnails folder which is close to 1gb! Due to crap Sony album bloatware. Delete the damn folder as deleting the thumbnails inside is of no use., they will b back! Now create a new FILE (not folder) by the name of- .thumbnails .......... do not create a folder as Sony will fill it up again for you. This should clear close to 1gb memory for you. Hope this helps. I too feel this superb phone has been let down by crappy software from Sony. I will root it someday.....flash a new ROM, Maybe then it will be the phone it was meant to be.

This fone is amazing one thing that you cant change about this is that ita having a bug issues in terms device memory keep on shrinking down withour the option of fixing it. Im not talking about the internal storage but the device memory where most of your app are saved. Im already searching to solve this problem but when i found out as i look on xperia l forum in sony website, Sony still as of now dont have any answer or didnt make a move to fix there device memory bug. Many are complaining there but Sony are not answering. Planning to swap this phone to bad sony. Really love this phone but with this bug even in New update didn't fix it. Now i only have 50mb of free space and only 600mb have been used of my apps. Where the f*** is my 900mb space? As of who dont know device memory consist of 1.57gb and internal storage consist of 4.01gb. Now i cant install apps. Search on Google the device memory problem of xperia l and see what I'm talking about.

camera is really best in class...take some good shorts and zoom it and you will surely be happy about your investment in this cellphone.. However front camera is not so good but can be used in bright light or in the open.. Otherwise this is absolutely a good phone..no hang issues and faster than samsung phones at this price

Bhush, 14 Mar 2014How to upgradeble android 4.2 in xperia lif you havn't received the OTA [ over the air update] then step one is..
1.) download pc companion from http://www.sonymobile.com/gb/tools/pc-companion/
2.) open pc companion
3.) plug in your Xperia L to the pc.. it will automatically detect the phone.
4.) once the phone is detected click on start below support zone.. then just follow the instruction you can see on the computer.
